“Share and Share alike…”When Tom McClarren and little sister, EVE Karen McClarren…have “BIRTHDAYS” – – only three days apart…Sharing the Birthdays…calls for a two-week stretch of sharing the GOOD TIMES!
Early in LIFE… may be I should say “VERY EARLY” – – everybody has taken notice that… if you want to have a “PARTY” – – I mean a “PARTY” that will last from the start…go – – to the finish that you want for the crowd to stay and enjoy… Then you will have invited “TOM McCLARREN” – he is the “BORN” Master of PARTIES!
In the above PHOTO is young EVE KAREN and big brother, TOM McCLARREN – – only six years older – – but in the above PHOTO – – if only you could hear the “Comedians” – – there is just no way you can stop a “HIT SHOW” of Comedy – when it is going on – – and no one would ever try to stop TOM – you would never have a chance. TOM is on stage…all the time – – you are always being entertained – – whether you like it or not – – and… I have never heard of anyone, that would even… try to stop him…but when Tom is ready to leave… everyone is bagging Tom … to stay – – they want more!
When you have …a first class entertainer in the FAMILY – -share the the excitement with FRIENDS and even… your enemies – – you will only make them jealous…that they do not have the FUN and ENJOYMENT…that you are always having and all… without cost. Just be there …or be square…as they used to say…back in the day.
For at least – NOW …share in the BIRTHDAYS…of the McCLARREN FAMILY…for this…two weeks…just have some real old fashion FUN!

“Happy BIRTHDAY….
to our little baby “EVE Karen McClarren”
These Photos were taken in 1946.
“That is MOMMY in the first Photo…holding our new baby sister, Karen – – then standing and with a box of “CRACKER JACK” in his hands is the next in age TOMMY – – and then the next in age is our brother, DENNY, good looking with the very best shade of red hair and as always dresses well …wearing the tie. That would be “ME” – just a step behind my brothers, and if you look carefully – – I’m helping… by holding my MOTHER’s purse – for safe keeping – – while we have a chance to take photos.
In the PHOTO – – on the right is…DADDY and the three of us standing, and DADDY is holding our little baby sister, EVE Karen. The “NAVY” outfit that TOMMY is now wearing… well it was DENNY’s and it was what DENNY was wearing when he took the “GREYHOUND BUS” ride …all alone to OHIO – – to stay with our Grand-Parents.
Also… at this time my FATHER had to go California…to work on NAVY SHIPS and took little TOMMY with him – – this was the time when everyone in AMERICA was doing their part for the WWII war effort. Everyone was traveling …and I was the one who was going to get to go…but I had a very good case of the MUMPS and just was not in shape to travel.
The best part of having old PHOTOS…you can remember better…what you were doing and what everyone else was doing. Another good memory of the TIMES – – back then…is having a lot of the old “MAIL” – – all of the old communication – – who wrote to who and what was important for each to do – – and who said this and did that – – we were always connected in thought and word!
TODAY…the 16th…my sisters – Kathleen and EVE Karen were born – and amazing TWINS…but – – what ever we may have wanted – – everything changes for us as a FAMILY – – our sister Kathleen did not live longer than a week – – each of the TWINS weigh in at eight and a half pounds – – but – – one of Kathleen’s lungs were crushed and – – she was not saved…I do not feel that they even tried to save her.

“Share … SOME…LOVE…TODAY…”
This “Valentine Card” may be 50 years old…but it still… brings “LOVE MEMORIES” – – and when you are in LOVE…it is the LOVE MEMORIES…that will last for eternity!
When… I select a card for someone…it may take hours…as I do have to read the words…that are on the inside of the card … surely would not want someone…especially my HUSBAND, Lee – – to read some ole mumbo jumbo stuff…that really does not apply to us, “The giver and the receiver” – the whole card has to be… a special memory…one that will last for “us” forever …what I mean to the receiver and … also the reverse.
