“My baby ‘chick’ is hiding…”

It is TIME to FEED…my baby ‘chicks’ – – and they run and hide – -how can I get this dish of food to this baby  ‘chick’?

img016

This was the week to surprise the boys with a few baby chicks… and little Lee Aldrich – – just felt like this job of feeding the chicks was the one job that he could do.

Every day that little Lee…would get some of the special chicken feed in his small dish – – he would have more problems – – just getting one of the four chicks – – to let him watch them eat.

So… after watching this major activity every day  – – just thought that I would have to take a few PHOTOS – – just as a reminder of the struggles… a small child has…when he is determined to do something – – important to him – – even though the baby chick wants to be very careful – – that he does not end up on the dinner table for he FAMILIES’ supper.

Today is the first day of SPRING – and also PALM SUNDAY – – –  and last night  the – – NEWS forecast ed  “SNOW” – –  so during the night I got up from bed to take a look outside – – just to see if they knew what would happen – – and sure enough – – you should have seen the “SNOW” coming down – so beautiful – you would have thought it is CHRISTMAS   tomorrow – – instead of PALM SUNDAY???

It looked just like a wonderful “WINTER LAND” scene – – that should be framed and saved forever – –  but in the morning .. ..   gradually….  it just was not cold enough..  .and by twelve o’clock high noon – – – it was all gone!  When our CREATOR sends us special little surprises – – not all of us are awake to see… –

“Is SHE or isn’t SHE only…”

“No way that baby “JAIME” is only five (5) months old!”

img116

When you go to work – – and there is a NEW  BABY in the FAMILY… everyone wants to see PHOTOS!    So…  I just had to bring my favorite PHOTOS of my   “GRAND-CHILDREN” – – only because I knew  – – that – –   they are  the best looking “GRAND-CHILDREN” – – and I was so proud to have some of the best PHOTOS…  for “SHOW and TELL!”

The above PHOTO – – of    “BABY  JAIME”  received more comments – everyone ask me …  half a dozen times or more… “ARE  you  for SURE”      that she is  only five (5) months old???  “YES!” “Look at the back of the PHOTO…Jill her MOTHER surely knows how old her BABY is!”  “Jill in her own hand-writing …has everything written on the back of her PHOTOS!”

The next major question was…   “BABY JAIME”  has so much hair…was she born with so much hair?”  To tell the truth …  “JAIME” had even more  dark brown  hair  – -than what you see!” “SHE was just LUCKY”  to have so much hair and so dark and beautiful!”

In addition to all of the questions – – half of my fellow employees could hardly believe that “JAIME” was sitting up so nice and straight – – as some of the women had said that – –  their babies had to be propped up for picture taking at that same age.  I just felt so good …that my GRAND-CHILDREN were getting such high reviews…and I could tell that some of the women were wondering – – how in the world … could an old GRANDMA – come up with such beautiful  GRAND-CHILDREN?

My answer to questions like I was receiving …was that we all must PRAY  – –  just as often as possible and then  – –  never ever forget to give   THANKS  to our  wonderful  CREATOR!

“I’m WORKING OUT – just like YOU!”

img114

“Do you think that I’m   WORKING OUT – just like YOU…MOM?”       I am learning to keep track of the number of times – – that I’m going up and down  – and the best part of this exercising is the special music – – – that you have playing…just for me…too!

img115

It sure is good – – that I am as strong…  as  I think…that I am…or will   soon be – – because there  are…   only so many of these ups and downs …. that   some little one …    like me…can really do…

This is little Alyssa at  21 months  of age.

“FOR THOSE WHO WEAR – GREEN!”

There is an old song…”I’m Looking over a  FOUR-LEAF CLOVER – that I ‘over looked’   before…”   and if you just say that little bit of the song – you just may be able to come up with the rest of the song.

BUT…with just that small bit of the song – – I’m wishing you all… a very “HAPPY ST. PATRICK’s DAY” – – – when looking over the FOUR LEAF CLOVER – – there are four very nice   wishes below… and the one that  you like the  BEST… is my very special  WISH  – – just for you…”DEAR” – – and the best part of this…   is  wishing you   lots of  extra special BLESSINGS…  from our CREATOR – – just for you and your special needs!

“BEAUTY in… Innocence!”

On this day of your life…to  “YOU” the reader…

I believe God wants you to know…

…that you are a pure child of God, beautiful in your innocence — and
That this is true no matter what you may have done.

There is no offense you could ever commit that can rob you of your
magnificence, or of the wonder of who you are. Yet who
among us hasn’t fallen from the path, betrayed another, acted
unwisely, fallen prey to temptation, given in to a craving or addiction?

All of us are human. And in God’s eyes that makes us perfect.img113
Really. Just the way we are. Like 3-year-olds, looking anxiously
up at some elder, wondering with quivering lips whether we’ll get
a spanking for breaking the rules…

The 3-year-old is beautiful in his    innocence. He is pure as snow,
and there is simply something that has not been totally understood,
or fully integrated into behavior yet. It’s okay. We don’t mean to
be “bad.” And in truth, we aren’t. Not a one of us.

We’re simply, sometimes, mistaken. And God loves us anyway.
Immensely. Completely. Eternally.

Just    as    we    are.

Oh, and by the way, …you already know
the reason that this particular reminder
came to you today…

“1st Flowers in my Back-yard!”

Each year these beautiful “Daffodils” just  decide to surprise me …  each year  – – no matter what the weather is dishing out – – these sweet and tender “Daffodils”   know that my favorite color is “Yellow” and that … when I see them – – I feel like a million – – that our Creator wants me to share in all  the joy and happiness – – that only these little “yellow” faces … can bring to those who take time to appreciate the  extra special beauty of our world!

“In a NUTSHELL” – – it is so amazing that our Creator…  is the one and only  – – to make such  a wonderful thing as the flower – – with more beauty than even “Solomon”  in all his royal glory – – – as described in the Bible – –  I am just letting my eyes enjoy these beautiful  gifts …   for the weeks that they  have to dance around in my backyard – – – – FOR ALL THE PEOPLE TO VIEW…ON THEIR WAY  INTO  “SUNSET PARK” –  – – only uplifting and inspiring  – FREE – gifts from the Almighty!”

I love spring flowers: daffodils and hyacinths are the ultimate flower for me. They are the essence of spring.
