“HAPPY ANNIVERSARY Andy and Alyssa”

Sure do hope that I am the first to wish you a very   HAPPY  DAY… tomorrow  – – the day that you both   said  “YES”  to a LIFE together and for always!

ONLY THE VERY best OF wishes”  ARE BEING SENT YOUR WAY – – HAVE TO SEND AS MANY AS I CAN!”

This next message  has most of the words  that I was thinking to wish you – –  and it is always best that  I have them there to refer to – – as sometimes  I do start to forget all of the good things that I want to say!

So… with any contract  – – you do want to be sure that this will be for LIFE – –  a LIFE that will be filled  with all the special BLESSINGS that only our CREATOR can give – – as those are the best of all to have  – – and to have forever…

And…  to have a long LIFE  of LOVE – – HAPPINESS – –  to be content in all of your business  plans that by working together – – you will see each other more and more than that each knows how to help the other  – – more than anyone else on this earth – – I know this plan works best!    But…  and in addition this road will have some ups and downs – – but to first put “JOY” into the doing of all and any work – – you will find that your LOVE makes this companionship become stronger and more fruitful all through the years to come!

May the Almighty Yahweh bless you always and forever!     D.V.   ***    *******

“One Day in the LIFE of Baby,LEX”

When you start your  “DAY” – – is there any better way to start a “DAY” – – than to be with the best person in the world… your DADDY – – the one and only person that knows so much silly stuff – – just to keep me is stitches – –  Daddy just LOVES me – – and I LOVE my DADDY… the mostest!

Before I know it – – it is time for my morning bath time with Mommy  doing the honors – – a  little tub of my own  to sit in…  special baby soap – – special baby wash cloth – –  and a sprinkle of powder…  MOM  gets me all clean and smiling   – – what  you might say…”baby clean and fresh”  just like I came in my “Birthday Suit” – – and wraps me up just like the best looking little ole bundle of “JOY” and we have more  FUN – – that just keeps me feeling so good  and fresh – – with smiles – – all day long!

My GREAT Grandma  said that she likes this PHOTO of me, Lex – – the best! – I just LOVE the way this blanket feels wrapped all around me – – after I have had my daily bath – –  “Nothing finer the the Sunshine in Carolina” – – how does  that old song go???

The hours… that I keep are  really something – – I just plum wear my self out – – I work so hard all day – – I have to play  at doing my best all day long – –  I still am carried by everyone that LOVES me – – and they all sing and talk to me – – and my MOM even reads to me – – and I just LOVE MOM holding me and reading all the good stuff – – as I am trying to learn everything as fast as I can – – heard someone say something about “tests” – – not quite sure what they are – – but one day soon – – guess I will find out?

SO – –  when day is done… and all good things must come to an end – – that is the time  for lights out – – and I will do my best at growing all the bones and stuff in my body to be one day older… tomorrow!

“So … “Adios Amigo” – – and until we get together tomorrow my FRIENDS!”

“Best MOTHER’s DAY Celebration – All Day Long”

Celebrating “MOTHER’s DAY”  all last Saturday – – was the best of all days – – the weather was beautiful and all those that are near and dear to me were able to spend hours – – as it takes that long to really have FUN!

Bebee visited her first owner, Grandma Mary Ellen Aldrich at Alan’s BBQ last Saturday! – – This PHOTO  and comment furnished by Mary Crangle – – and so glad that she was able to take  lots of PHOTOS – – as  and like  I have said so many times – – PHOTOS will keep the MEMORIES  in the top drawer of the brain.

When you are enjoying a very good time with FAMILY – – I feel that you need hours to get the full enjoyment of the day – – and for my brain to be able to remember as often as I like and also pass on these memories for others to enjoy as well – – it is very nice to have the PHOTO – – to make sure you do not forget everything!

And… seeing this next PHOTO – – is one of those “Killer-Diller” crazy types of scenes – – that just brings back more laughter – – every time you look at it. Without knowing me – – that I have gone through several small hand-held magnifiers – – they have dropped and broke – – fell out of my pockets and damaged in so many ways – – that I had to put an end to this expense by  tying a blue  fancy ribbon on to the handle of one – – and carry around the neck and of  course to keep out of everything – – just drop  magnifier down the front of my dress!

Great Grandma looking for her looking glass to read her Mother’s Day Card, and Bebee is excited to see her first owner, Mary Ellen Aldrich! ( This PHOTO and facebook message from Mary Crangle)

This  is the “PRIZE PHOTO” of all times!

Just for me to see this PHOTO – – I almost die laughing – – for some one not knowing me  – – to see me do some real dumb stuff – –  reminds me of  when I was much younger the stories my MOM would tell me about a “DUMB DORA”  – – or  maybe a “dumb Bonny” – -but and as for me – – in these days if you can get a good laugh – – you are doing good!

I feel that my FAMILY and FRIENDS kind of expect for me to do some  silly stuff – – just for the FUN of it – – otherwise … you could end up with a  sad sack time – – and without LAUGHTER – – what… do you have???

For the terrifically  good time we had… my THANKS goes to our CREATOR – – He created us to have FUN and to  enjoy having the FAMILY together as often as is possible!    D.V.

“Some of the BEST PEOPLE on EARTH”

…   Family PHOTOS are so good to have – – so glad that  they  are taken and available to me – – as I do not know how to operate those hand held gadgets… that everyone has  – – I must not have been in school …that day!

“That is my GREAT GRANDSON Lex in the arms of my son, AL  and his three children … Alan… Jaime…Alyssa – – OUR…  NEW MAMA to baby, LEX!”

And special little  Miss Bebee” – – receiving a few love pats from Alan.”

And the message that came with the above PHOTO  from Mary Crangle and  so glad she took PHOTOS for me to share!

Bebee visiting her roots…she still remembers them, especially Great Grandma Mary Ellen Aldrich, not shown here, but Her Grand babies, here, are all grown up…and married, except for big brother Alan Aldrich, who is still my bundle of joy, and very generous gift giver this year…and successful son of mine! I heart you Alan! Thanks for having me over to meet your nephew, Lex! — with Jaime Cardwell.

Just one more PHOTO … new GRAND-Pa, Al and daughter Alyssa with baby, LEX – – receiving the gifts of a  hat and scarf and baby quilt all hand made … crocheted by MARY Crangle, herself – – does such wonderful and beautiful work – – one of the gifts that our CREATOR gives us – – if only we want  to use these good gifts to share wonderful things with others.

“Baby Lex in the arms of Great Grandma…herself”

“WOW”  – – Look out… when you are not expecting – – a “PHOTO”  is being taken – – and you sure do look like  – – “YOU”  really should have prepared yourself   first – –  before you  get into a big hurry to hold the baby – – as he is not going anywhere  without you and will be glad to wait a minute or two more…. since you   feel the need  to hold  baby,LEX – – in  your  arms – – RIGHT NOW!

Image may contain: one or more people, people sleeping, people sitting and baby

The idea of  wearing a “CAP” on your head – – is to cover up some of the white hair – – that just loves to stick out …  and let everyone have a pretty good idea – – of just exactly how “OLD” – – you really are!

This is  where I am telling everyone about “POWERFUL Katrinka” and the story is found on “fourgrandmas.com” – – – and  the story is about  a very well planned  and executed “kid-napping” …  and everyone was   just  so spelled bond as the plans were reveled and that  this took place maybe sixty years ago.

Just maybe BABY,LEX was taking in this story and sure hoping that nothing like this  – – would happen to him or any of his friends!

Image may contain: one or more people, people sleeping, baby and closeup

“BABY  LEX” – – just caught an idea of “WHO” this is holding him – – and  some of the stories  being told  – – so he decided to laugh so loud – – that he almost scared himself – – with the silly old GRANDMA – – trying to do a “comedy act”  – – of acting   something like a  young  MAMA – – and singing some old songs – – that he has never heard – – and  unless “Grandma” is  ever going  to be around  daily…you will  never hear so much silly stuff… again!

Image may contain: one or more people and people sitting

“Now this is the difficult part of  a FAMILY  get together –  – for me to hold baby, LEX and then to try to read something on a hand-held phone – – and communicate to baby – –  – – I do believe that  – – I need some new glasses – – that make everything come in bigger and clearer – – small print and me – – we just do not see – – eye to eye – –  – where is the magnifier when you need one?

The  best part of getting together is all the FUN – – and  then trying to remember that  the FAMILY that PRAY AND  PLAY together – – will stay together…  for  that is how the LOVE of LIFE is communicated – – one to another!     D.V.  ***    *******

“The Four Agreements” “Book Worth Reading”

            “The Four Agreements”

the-four-agreements-624x624

I recently read a book called… “The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz”… that opened my eyes to a new way of thinking and way of living. The premise is that there are four agreements you make with yourself and when followed miraculous things will happen.

As you practice living these four practices your life will dramatically change. In the beginning these new habits will be challenging and you will lapse countless times. With practice these agreements become integrated into your being and every area of your life and become easy habits to keep.

The Four Agreements are:

1. Be Impeccable with your Word:                                                 Speak with integrity.

“Say only what you mean.”  Avoid using the Word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your Word in the direction of truth and love.

2. Don’t Take Anything Personally
Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.

3. Don’t Make Assumptions
Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.

4. Always Do Your Best
Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret.

For more on this, check out the book, The Four Agreements. It has the power to transform our lives to a new experience of freedom, love and true happiness.
