“Today’s READING from the BIBLE- for Every Day”
Psalm chapter 71
1
In You, O YAHWEH, I have taken refuge; Let me never be ashamed.
2
In Your righteousness deliver me and rescue me; Incline Your ear to me and save me.
3
Be to me a rock of habitation to which I may continually resort; You have given commandment to save me, For You are my rock and my fortress.
4
Rescue me, O my Elohim, out of the hand of the wicked, Out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man,
5
For You are my hope; O Sovereign Yahweh, You are my trust from my youth.
6
By You have I been held up from the womb; You are He that took me out of my mother’s bowels; My praise shall be continually of You.
7
I am as a wonder to many; But You are my strong refuge.
8
My mouth shall be filled with Your praise, And with Your honor all the day.
9
Cast me not off in the time of old age; Forsake me not when my strength fails.
10
For my enemies speak concerning me; And they that watch for my soul take counsel together,
11
Saying, “Elohim has forsaken him; Pursue and take him, for there is none to deliver.”
12
O Elohim, be not far from me; O my Elohim, hurry to help me!
13
Let them be put to shame and consumed that are adversaries to my soul; Let them be covered with reproach and dishonor, that seek my hurt.
14
But I will hope continually, And will praise You yet more and more.
15
My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness, And of Your salvation all the day; For I know not the numbers of it.
16
I will come with the mighty acts of the Sovereign Yahweh: I will make mention of Your righteousness, even of Yours only.
17
O Elohim, You have taught me from my youth; And until now I have declare Your wondrous works.
18
And even when I am old and gray-headed, , O Elohim, forsake me not, Until I have declare Your strength to the next generation, Your might to every one that is to come.
19
Your righteousness also, O Elohim, is very high, You who have done great things; O Elohim, who is like You?
20
You, who has showed us many and severe troubles, Will quicken us again, And will bring us up again, from the depths of the earth.
21
Increase my greatness, And turn again and comfort me.
22
I will also praise You with the psaltery, Even your truth, O my Elohim; To You will I sing praises with the harp, O you Holy One of Israel.
23
My lips shall shout for joy when I sing praises to You; And my soul, which You have redeemed.
24
My tongue also shall talk of Your righteousness all the day long; For they are put to shame, For they are confounded, that seek my hurt.

My son, Lee gave me this reading for today – – and I have read this and dated in my BIBLE each and every time I read this page as well as each daily reading on my regular schedule – – – just to see how long it will take for me to receive the special message that is there – – just for me!
Verse 18 – – is really for me in this day and age – – and would venture to also include to all parents – – as it is important to pass this important information in the BIBLE to the next generation and to each generation to come – – We need rules and truth to help us each day – – and what better place to find this – – but in the WORD given to us to follow – – and to someday be with our CREATOR – – that spoke the WORD that we may find HIM and with the TRUTH – – have each generation follow us and be together with us in ETERNITY for ever!
