“WOW” – – This is going to be a very busy weekend for all most every person in this State of Missouri and across the Country – – just so many things to do and plans to make – – in hopes of not forgetting that – – “everyone is really important” this next few days!

This weekend there should be Parades everywhere as on this SUNDAY, “V-J Day – 1943” – The term has also been used for September 2, 1945, when Japan’s formal surrender took place aboard the U.S.S. Missouri, anchored in Tokyo Bay.

That morning, on the deck of the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay, the Japanese envoys Foreign Minister Mamoru Shigemitsu and Gen. Yoshijiro Umezu signed their names on the Instrument of Surrender. The time was recorded as 4 minutes past 9 o’clock. Nothing like finally putting an end to WAR!

On “MONDAY the 3rd” we celebrate Labor Day – – – and “Labor Day” the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.

So… as most of us AMERICANS, we will be celebrating this day as a “HOLIDAY” with Parades and lots of Barbecues – – playing lots of backyard games with the FAMILY and FRIENDS – – since everyone works at least “40” hours a week – – and we all need one special day to rest from our regular busy week of HARD WORK! “Let’s do it and have rest for the old and tired out bones!”

“September 4th, TUESDAY, is a big “BIRTHDAY DAY” for “Jill Rempala” and with the good LUCK that it follows “Labor Day” – – where everyone is already celebrating a three day weekend off from work – – as night follows the day – – TUESDAY just has to follow with some extra special “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” celebrations as all of the FAMILY and Friends – will be wanting for “JILL” to receive some extra special time with even more celebrating!
