“Sister Alvira… Teaching…
When one continues to “LOOK” – – – sometimes they find???
The above photo of Sister Alvira was taken in September 1978. In the above photo… you will notice that the uniform of dress, for Sister Alvira is much different from the photo…that was posted yesterday for Sister Alvira’s “BIRTHDAY” – – – maybe making it much easier for the NUNS to dress and a whole lot less of the needed starching of some of the white trim pieces that had made the Sisters of Christian Charity – – so distinctive from many of the other Organizations of NUNS.
When I was in Sister Alvira’s 5th and 6th grades…the classroom sure did not look like the above photo. After we left in 1952…they must have gone through all kinds of changes – – some changes may be for the better – – but, I feel that the way it was …when I was a young girl – – was so much better, since I enjoy an orderly method to all that I do… and for my brain to be more organized and to know – – that the whole world works better…when there is organization – – – it makes for everyone doing the best that they can…as they will always know …how many steps up the ladder of LIFE…to complete their dreams and really be happy.
