Do I look like …”2nd Hand ROSE” in this blue and white dress???

Since …I am wearing the same old dress that I wore…. in the previous ‘POST’ – – – which was at least ‘twenty-five’ years …before!

Sometimes in LIFE…one finds that …at least… that is for me – – I feel some dresses have very good material – – and some of the dresses that I have …just seem to last forever – – they are well made and since they are not worn too often – – well… they just seem to last and even look better than the day… first worn?

When I was looking at these two photos…just could not believe that… I wore my hair in such a big ball of curly brown and tight curls around the face??? I was definitely younger, since the photo with my neighbor and friend, Mrs. Jackie Jansen… and, this current as seen above photo – – taken with my son Al and grandson Alan – and this was on the picnic day visit to St. Vincent’s Home…in Normandy, Missouri.

While at St. Vincent’s Home for the picnic, we did take the tour of the HOME and was lucky to be having a nice time in the CHAPEL – when this very good photo was taken – – so lucky to have photos with those that you LOVE…the most est!

Getting back to the “2nd Hand ROSE” dress… just take notice – if you can see some of my “grey hair” showing under the hat… and I hate to say so… but … this blue and white dress does look better with the gal with the gray hair – – than that younger gal – – that has so much more hair …and all such a very nice shade of brown!
