“Suzanne Cuccione” 31 -year-old Oakville, Missouri resident – – took top honors – – receiving the BLUE RIBBON Award and $50.00 first place – – in the annual cooking competition and the winning recipe was the “Family Favorite – – – “Fresh Apple Cake – – – with Cinnamon Butter” – – this is a recipe that she modified – – and in checking the ingredients and how she prepared this – – I feel that I will be trying this version – – of the “RAW APPLE CAKE” – – just as soon as is possible – – since – – what she has changed – – I can already tell this would be a favorite at our home – – – – and everyone – – that likes apples in a cake recipe – – should give it a try, too – – – and see if you – – like this update.

There is a recipe that I was looking for – – the “Quick Cornstarch Pudding” that is made in a very short amount of time using the Microwave – – – such a QUICK and easy way to have good PUDDING – – and you can so easily make it – – chocolate and or coco-nut – or what ever your favorite may be.

The copy of this recipe – – that – – I am looking for – – is somewhere amongst so many cook-books and millions of loose copies of recipes and cut-outs from newspapers and such – – – – a collection – – that has been collected for at least the last sixty (60) or more years.

Collecting of recipes – – started with my MOM and her sister, my AUNT Irene Brady Riley – – – and since I also have my MOM’s cook-book from HIGH SCHOOL – – – my collection of recipes – – some of which – – could be as old as seventy (70) years old – – – but like collectors of stuff – – I knew that – – I had the “Cuccione Recipe” – – but since – – I was not looking for it – – never dreamed – – that I would find it – – – usually I do not find that which – — I am looking for – – exactly and when I want too – – – but someday – – it will just find “a way” to my hands – – and then I will have to THANK – – the ALMIGHTY – – for sending it to a place – to where if can be found – by me!

Since this – – is a HOLIDAY weekend – – with extra days to be with FAMILY and FRIENDS – – let us all – – get into the “COOKING UP SOMETHING – – GOOD” – – to share with those we LOVE!
