“The BRADY Family Brothers – St.Louis, MO

There was a TIME when every FAMILY   put their wealth in having a large and prosperous household of CHILDREN  – – as the children are gifts from our Creator – –  and there was nothing holding back  a family passing on to the children the good convictions of   LIFE – LIBERTY  – LOVE – to pass on to the next generation and to those that follow.

FIVE…  of the boys in the above PHOTO  – – are the “BRADY BROTHERS” – “JAMES BRADY was the eldest – – and through the “Western Movies’   there were many stories about “Diamond JIM Brady” – – but that was not this Jim Brady – – although he was the head of a “Meat Packing Co.,” in Texas.

In the above photo  – – I can not pick Jim as I have photos of him later in LIFE with his adopted daughter – – and the writing of the names on the above photo was done in pencil – – which has almost faded out.

Next is “JOHN BRADY” – – and he is easy to pick out – – since he was so tall. From the left of the first row  – – the second young man in  “TALL JOHNNY” — you can see he is sitting nice and tall. His education paid off – – in that he was a chemist and all of those important buildings in downtown Saint Louis – – are still standing  – – since he was in charge of  making sure the chemical combinations of strong buildings was his responsibility. His early death was probably  caused by those same  chemicals – as he had cancer – and back then  – – there was nothing that could have been done to help him.

“OLIVER BRADY”  was the athlete of the family. When he played BASEBALL – – that ball was hit so hard – – out of the field  and … could he ever run  – – faster than anyone – – a real natural! In fact that movie that you were lucky to view some years back…  was probably  based on OLIVER’s Life – – part of the movie was right on – – and when I have the time will write more.

In the back row … and standing – – the second from the left is “THOMAS BRADY” – – and his education took him into a LIFE in the Political Field in the downtown Saint Louis Sheriff Office.

Not sure exactly where “PHILL BRADY” is  in this PHOTO – – looks like I will have to re-check the original PHOTO and see if with a magnifying… GLASS – – IF AT ALL WHAT Names  CAN be  BE READ. PHILL did leave home early and went to Chicago – there he lived  until my MOTHER found him and they kept in touch – – til the day he died.

4319 Broadway, Saint Louis, Missouri – is the back drop of this PHOTO  – – as that is the “Saloon” – which was owned and operated by Mr. Thomas F. Brady – – the FATHER of the “BRADY BUNCH” – – those were the days.
