“Verse of the Week”

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.

– James 3:17

I was just thinking  – – that at least on the first day of week… we should start the “WEEK”  with a verse from the BIBLE.

The above verse came to me… via  “Bott Radio Network” – – and …   this week’s program highlights featuring Dr. Erwin Lutzer with Running to Win radio broadcast.

My thinking… came as I read the above verse – – and then I had to read it again – –  and was unable to trash after reading – – sometimes that happens to me… have to read and ponder  – – why – – what is this message to me  – –  is there something in this message that needs to be passed on – – and even saved for that “RAINY DAY” – – down  the road – – because – – – there is a reason for  every thing – – action and response – – and sometimes we overlook – – something IMPORTANT!

“WISDOM”… that is what we all need and want – – especially the “WISDOM” from above. If the “WISDOM” is impartial and sincere  – – of which it would be coming from above – – It will  help  us to be  more peaceable and more gentle in our daily    actions  and responses to  our FAMILY and our NEIGHBORS and in all of the other problems… that come knocking at our door.

In TODAY’s  fast LIFE – – we hear a few words – – see a few actions taken by people we do not even know – – and without having any … knowledge… understanding – – we run off without “GOOD WISDOM” of the situation – – into a “hell-of-a-mess” – – with all the end results – – causing more injury than any kind of “GOOD” help – – that we did want to give.

“TODAY” – – of all TIMES…  I believe we need more “WISDOM” – – and before we run off to HELP – – where we know nothing – – get first correct information – – with others — get the correct information  sorted out with a plan of ACTION – – that with good council and a workable plan – – PRAY for GUIDANCE – – our CREATOR will direct HIS people in the correct PATH to take. D.V.
