“Brady and Riley Family early 1900’s
This looks like a very young “Marie Brady” – – and little “Bernie Riley” – – the son of “Mr. and Mrs. Wm. B. Riley” – – – Mrs. Riley is “IRENE” older sister of “MARIE” – – and now a very special “AUNT” to little “BERNIE” – – and from what I was told – – he was a very special and very much loved child of all those who knew him. 
This next PHOTO of “MARIE BRADY’ sitting on the right and top step of this four-family flat… is where the “BRADY FAMILY” lives – – and next to Marie is her friend, “Martha Huffman” – – and her FAMILY lived in the downstairs flat … the door you see behind where Mr. BRADY, father to Marie is sitting… and – – – – – – as I remember…
… Martha’s, father bought this building – – – where they are sitting – – and as the parents of Martha… and the rest of her siblings left – – Martha was the owner of this building in the 1950’s.
Martha went to SCHOOL to learn to be a “BEAUTICIAN” – – and was very good – – having lots of regular customers. She had her “BUSINESS” in her HOME – her section of this flat – – and for many years. She was very good at what she was doing – – as my MOTHER would also have her do her hair.
Sometime after … MARTHA got married and she and her husband moved to Illinois – – but… she then converted the “FLAT” to apartments… and rented them out – – I know. When my husband Lee – – needed an operation… we had his oldest son, TOM take charge of things – – our HOME and Restaurant Business in Florida for us – – since my husband was going to be in the HOSPITAL for several months.
So in looking for a place to rent in NORTH Saint LOUIS – – near the HOSPITAL – – there was this ad with this address on “WARNE AVENUE” – – and when I mentioned it to my MOM – – she said she knew the owner… her old girl friend from the 1920’s – – so therefore, I was able to get one of her apartments… in this building – – to rent for $20.00 a week – – and this was now the 1960’s!
As I am thinking… I have some old PHOTOS of when we were there – – and so… when I find the PHOTOS – – I will have to write… MORE! D.V.

“How about some STREET “MONOPOLY” – – for the KIDS”
Has anyone ever given a second thought to putting the game of “MONOPOLY”… at the dead end of some streets for the neighborhood kids to play – – outdoors – – in the good ole fresh air?
How would this look – – on the… “cul-de-sac” – – or better known as the “dead-end” area – – where there are homes – – and lots of children – – who would just LOVE having a place to PLAY the popular GAME of “MONOPOLY” – – with all of their neighborhood FRIENDS!
These are just some real good “Street ART” – – but with my IDEA of adding this as an extra… into areas – – where the children could play a popular game – – where they all know the rules – – and would have lots of FUN – – out doors – – enjoying some FRESH AIR – – and meeting new FRIENDS – – – – this is a step up from the game of “HOP-SCOTCH” – – where some movement of the body is building up – – instead of just turning into a “sofa-potato” – – with all of the fresh-air – – you can… in-hale… for FREE.
This “Street-Art” is so good – – and the IDEA of making something similar for the children in the neighborhood – – “WOW” – -what a difference for the world!
This last piece of “Street-ART” – – sends a message – – there is “ART” – – and then there is “art” – – and without good colors and in the right places – – the world lacks some degree of “pizzazz” – – we need a couple of steps up in the coloring … to make everything more eye appealing. D.V.

“There are HALLOWEEN Outfits – – and then there are THESE”
“Getting Ready for HALLOWEEN”
“HALLOWEEN” is one day that little children get a real good time – – the children get to dress up – – in outfits that look so cute – – and are so much FUN – – just the making of them and then watching each child have a great time – – in a “Make-Believe” land.
The PHOTO on the left is little “JAIME” and she looks like the cutest little friendly MOUSE – – that you would like to keep… forever. – – And… if ever you wanted to look beautiful… you would get all dressed up like “ALYSSA” is… in the PHOTO on the right – – and try on a beautiful “WEDDING DRESS” – – that may have only been worn once… before.
This is the “PRE-SCHOOL” class room… where you first get to see how your school friends will be “DRESSED” for the big day… HALLOWEEN – – and find out where they will be going to do their “trick and treating” – – – and of course – – you will be getting ideas for what your next year’s HALLOWEEN costume will look like.
In this PHOTO – – we see that the “TEACHER”, herself is dressed like “RONALD MAC DONALD” – – which is a very nice out-fit to have – as you can use it at so many “PARTIES” and always be is style.
I do not remember who made LITTLE MOUSE JAIME’s out-fit – – but she sure is the cutest little mouse – – that I have seen – – and it looks like all of her friends also like her cute “mouse” out-fit – – it just WINS a PRIZE in my book!

“BIG… SMALL… MINIATURE… DADDY”
‘Buddy Check on 22!’ – – That was the day that I was born – – so my NAME is “BUDDY” – – and if I say so myself – – I am the the best “BUDDY on this tis farm.
As you can see… I am what they call a “MINIATURE” horse. BUT – – I am also the PROUD FATHER of the “Surprise birth ” of a real rarity – – and just because of it being a ‘surprise’… they may just call… my gift to the world… “SURPRISE” – – which will be a wonderful name for such a beautiful baby girl!
