“Ambassador to Ireland” – “I am ready to go” – “RIGHT NOW”

“Just in case  and just so everyone  will know – – I am ready to go to IRELAND!” – – “Just send a message to “President Donald Trump” – – I do believe that the “IRISH” will LOVE me” as my ancestors came from Ireland and England!”

Opportunity Knocking!   for ME…

My question for today – who will step up and let the world know – that for the position – Ambassador to Ireland – here I am, ready to serve! I feel that if I remind everybody that the position is open and more and more people will be looking for someone with the “RIGHT” stuff – to stand up and declare that the Ambassador to Ireland position is being filled now, by them and or “ME”! We need some of that good old “SALT” – that stirs up the flavor of living the right way to come – to “Life!”

Today, too many of us Americans are just sitting back and letting the other “guy” do what we  – – or better said – –  ourselves could  do – if only  our backbone was as strong as our ancestors. Just take a few minutes and think about what you are doing right, now? What is so important that you cannot do something – just a little more worthwhile – because you know that if you don’t do the job – someone with a lesser amount of talent will take the Position – and then what we will receive…  will be a very sorrowful story – so much  so… that all will just go down the drain!

When I was a lot younger, working full time, three children in school – and each child has activities they wanted to join. I would fill out the paper work that I would help.

Do you have any idea as to how many parents do not fill out any school informational paper work that requires their time? They feel that somebody else will take on the job of helping out the school and work with their kids – and if there are no  volunteers – then the kids will just have to wait till a later year for the same opportunity to come along, for them? Of course, you and lots of children receive nothing special – no helpers – equal nothing extra special in the “years that count” for your children! It’s that way all through life – when no volunteers stand up for a good cause!

If one of the children in our family wanted to learn something and this would require me to help in any way at all – that is exactly what I did. It was amazing how many activities we would partake  of… in those years and how much we got done – the days were “longer” then – just more hours seem to be available – we had so much fun doing – the only thing now – as I  now think about it – we did not watch the  T.V. – we did something useful and were always learning.

When you want something done – ask busy people – they will find the time to fit the activity into their busy schedule!  “You and your FAMILY will LOVE doing activities together – – try it and let me know!”    D.V.

“On March 24th, 1962, 56 years ago”

Just compare the above date with this PHOTO – – and look outside – – what a difference a day  can be in  – – any given year!

“Yes… that is my little baby brother, Tom on his wedding day – – with his beautiful wife “Rosie”  and our brother, Denny Jr. and his wife JUDY is on the right.

“For this to be … TOM and ROSIE’s  Wedding Day – – the Almighty  provided them with a very fine   day  – – so that good PHOTOS could be made – – that will last a LIFE-time” The PHOTO that I wanted to  post – – was of the happy couple coming out of the CHURCH – – with lots of rice being thrown at them – – and they are ducking their heads – – so as to not receive too much rice  – – right into the face – – but they were so full of smiles – – maybe I should say  – -just full of LOVE – – what would a little rice do to you  – – on your WEDDING DAY?

That PHOTO  – – that I now… can not find – – after just seeing it a couple of days back – – never thought… that I would not be able to find it again – – just when I wanted to – -but that is the way it goes – – when you have too many PHOTOS to sort through.

So… TODAY – – If you know TOM and ROSIE – – call and let them know that you also remembered – – wish them a great many more years of  knowing the secret to a HAPPY and  CONTENT MARRIAGE – – when so many  others…have not as yet found that  extra special message for living together forever with LOVE!

“CONGRATULATIONS TOM and ROSIE” for many – – many more HAPPY and Blessed years together!     D.V.

“Did You Prepare and Reflect this LENT – for EASTER”

40 Days from Ash Wednesday till Easter – so we are ‘almost  there’ – –  starting on February 14th – – which was also “Valentine’s Day” – – should not have been doing all of the celebrating  with the “VALENTINE”  – – as that was the case in Grade School – – the NUNS were very strict – – but…  at long last  – –  Easter will be April 1st, 2018… and when I was a kid – we were taught to reflect on our lives’ thus far – and start making some changes for the Resurrection of “Yahshua the Messiah” – beginning with a plan – just for me to work on making myself  a  much better   person. I was to want to do all these new things that were suggested by the NUNS – changes that by  implementing  while still  a small child – would become second nature – and also… throughout all my LIFE – I would know the right things to follow and do forever.

In the environment that I was in as a child – my Aunt Irene Riley, had the NUNS and everyone she knew at her Church –Our Lady of Sorrows, to pray for me – that I would become a Nun. Lots of prayers and meditation and living at the Orphanage – I almost thought that to be a NUN would be the LIFE for me. There was a “Brady in Dublin, Ireland”  – a relative to my Mother, and her sister, Irene Brady Riley – he was a very good Priest and I am guessing that several of my uncles were prayed for – enough – so as to hope for more to enter the “Priesthood.”

Just because there might be some “HISTORY” in the family – for a vocation into the Religious Life – it is something that you just cannot force. So, now with the LENTEN season, it would really be a good time to pray for everyone – for those who may be preachers and teachers – for those in the world in areas that are in war-zones – that do not allow their citizens to go to Church and for those in areas where they are killing people just because of their FAITH.

“PAY-IT- Forward” with our Prayers and our Charities that we can do for those around the World  – those who are hurting and their very LIFE is at a total risk – just trying to survive under the dictator type run countries  – where lives are consider worthless.

Let us remember our fellow-man – our neighbor – with LOVE – during this Lent Season – just as “Yahshua  the  Messiah”   directed us… in the New Testament.. to do!

For those of you too young to remember
Bob Hope, ask your Grandparents.

And thanks for the memories!

Tribute to a man who DID make a difference.

‘You still chase women, but only downhill’.
‘You still chase women, but only downhill’.

‘That’s the time of your life when even your birthday suit needs pressing.’

‘You know you’re getting old when the candles cost more than the cake.’

‘I don’t feel old.   In fact, I don’t feel anything until noon.  Then it’s time for my nap.’

‘I ruined my hands in the ring.  The referee kept stepping on them.’

‘Welcome to the Academy Awards or, as it’s called at my home, ‘Passover’.

‘Golf is my profession.  Show business is just to pay the green fees.’

‘I have performed for 12 presidents and entertained only six.’

‘When I was born, the doctor said to my mother, “Congratulations, you have an eight pound ham.”
‘I feel very humble, but I think I have the strength of character to fight it.’

‘Four of us slept in the one bed.  When it got cold, mother threw on another brother.’

‘That’s how I learned to dance – waiting for the bathroom.’

‘I would not have had anything to eat if it wasn’t for the stuff the audience threw  at me.’

> > “My DAD” <<

In looking through boxes of old  PHOTOS – – found this “PRIZE of a PHOTO”  of all time!

If … I had seen this PHOTO  ten to twenty years ago – – I would have  had this PHOTO blown up  and  displayed in a prize of a frame…  for all to see hanging on one of my walls – – and it would have been called  “MY SON”  the best pilot that I know!

“My DAD”  – – those are wonderful words to hear your children say and  – then…  especially when your  “Grand-Children”  used those words out loud and even when they write them on a “PRIZE” photo – – for all of their friends to know – –  “My DAD”   flies high above the sky in his very own “Long Eze”  plane – – entertaining the crowds below.

Those words – “MY DAD”  which are  so rarely heard – that  when you stop to think about  – – right  NOW – –  you   just do not hear said – – TODAY – – with all of  the LOVE and reverence that our children should  be having  for the best friend and partner in their life – – that they will ever have, for a LIFE time.

Somewhere in the “HOME”  we are failing to teach and show admiration and appreciation with honor and respect to our PARENTS – – especially to  our “DAD”  – – the poor guy is just forgotten and ignored  – – and we wonder why…  we have the problems that  we are  having… TODAY.

“PUT  DAD back in the HOME and at the head of the table”  – – work a better home plan for the  FAMILY  – – to PRAY together – – to stay together – – forever – – if you read the BIBLE – – you will find out that there is a special blessing to those children  that abide by the that loving principle.     D.V.
