My God, this makes me sad for the old days when there was still shared pride and joy in American politics and not just division and anger.
Gary Bryant
On June 4th 1986 President Reagan visited Parris Island. I was part of the graduating class that day.
I was in platoon 1045, Ssgt Andrew’s was my Senior Drill Instuctor. We got to hear him give a speech, it was a good one.
I found out later than no President had ever visited PI to see Marines on graduation day.
Now I realize it was an honor for us for President Reagan to be there. Bryant is my name, number 5. Semper Fi.
David Lamberson
Reagan was not in love with himself, he was in love with America.
Laetitia Logan

Longing for the good ole days. Back when people had respect for one another and patriotism for their country.
Gerald Vasend
Will we ever see the day again when one side of the isle can laugh at the joke from the other side in public?
