“Loving Memories Passed on to All Generations”

1944 – “To My Sweetheart”

img045

This photo is of   –  Al E. Aldrich,  a younger brother to my husband, Lee G. Aldrich, Sr. – and uncle to my sons, Lee, Jr. and Al Aldrich.

The  photo must have been intended for a girl-friend –

Al has a date of July 8th, 1944 –  while stationed in Italy…

And also…  he has written: “To My Sweetheart”    —   “Al” –

Also,  there is some other writing on the back side of this photo – but…

This photo was pasted with glue on to a black page of a photo-album  – and,  it was carefully sliced out –

 Some of the writing…

That AL wrote on that back side, can no longer be made out –

So I guess we just do not need to know … all that which  was there –

I  just feel so “LUCKY” … just to have this  PHOTO as a very special remembrance of my brother-in-law,  AL!

You can tell that  there was some bending of this photo and damage  was done by someone – sometime ago –

No one  really knows what happens to any and or  all of their stuff …when they move   and or leave behind, all of their earthly possessions for the next generation  —

Al and his brother Lee, my husband…  have already gone on to a much better place – but, and I feel that they were called HOME to Heaven too soon or early… as they are  both really missed by us… who  NOW… are getting close… as no one lives forever,  so we are all  sure to follow soon, enough?

On this Memorial Day –

I  do  remember those in my “Family” and all those still serving in the Armed Forces  –  and I am daily asking,  for our  Almighty Yahweh to send HIS  blessing –   since –  we all need prayers said for us –

Also it is so good … to always be remembered in some way –  so  my thoughts are that   — we should  all try  to send blessings of “LOVE”  to all those  that we hold dear  in our “LIFE” time  –

And hoping that our “Love messages” which,  we all are sending… will be making  for a much  better  world  – to come.

Making MEMORIES  today and tomorrow and for all TIME  and  in addition our own  daily loving memories   – will  for ever … be passed on to  all the next generations!

“Memories of LOVE made NOW … and in our family today… will keep inspiring all of us to continue to pass more LOVE on forever!”
