“LOVE to GRANDMA” from all of us!

Lee & Al 001

L to R – Tom, Don, Lee Sr., Uncle Al,  little Lee Aldrich Jr., and “Grandma Lulu,”  – aka  – Louise Aldrich Stanley.

“Happy Birthday “Grandma Lula – this is a lucky time for all of us to be together  – and the best part is that  –  there was film in the camera. Back then – in the  “olden”  days – ha-ha…-  how lucky it is for everyone today – just hold up your multi-functional gadget – and you have picture and sound and a  wonderful memory – right there and then – captured forever –  – – – or if it is not just exactly  – the perfect face and look – –  zap – all gone!!!

Everyone knows that I believe that one should celebrate at least a week – – whenever there is something special going on-  or…  how else will you know it even happened – – since…  today we are doing too much – too fast – – – and if there has not been enough “TIME” put into the activity…  the memory is forever forgotten and  permanently erased!!!  We need  photos and reminders  – so there fore as much  “TIME” in the faster  pace world  – to forever remember the good old days and “TIMES” – when we could visit with FAMILY and FRIENDS – and we did not have to rush…

What does the above photo tell us?? Tom on the left has not as yet join the Army –  and not married to the girl with the beautiful red hair that works for us at the “Lucky Boy Drive-In” – and sorry to say – Tom died of cancer just a couple years ago. Don his younger brother is married  with two  children and still living in Florida. Lee Sr. had several surgeries  after leaving the Saint Louis Police Dept., and is no longer with us. Al Aldrich, Lee’s younger brother had cancer  –  and –  some time after Lee passed away  –    Al  also leaving a wife and two children and  she moved back to Canada,  to be with her parents. Lee Jr., is still going and doing his things – has a wife and the both of them loving  horses and  a lot of other animals – they have their hands full – –  feeding so many mouths – around the clock.   Our  Grandma Lulu  – had a long and blessed LIFE  and if she were  still  – – alive  – – today – she would be  up to 134 years  of age!!!

Thank you Almighty Yahweh for giving us all – a wonderful LIFE  –  – and lots  and lots  of memories – – –  and we all  – are still making  more …   memories!
