Happy Mother’s Day

Mom, today I must say ,Thank You, for having “YOU”  as  the best Mother, ever.As the first child in the family, I received all the first’s, that never can be received  by those that follow. Of course, I must learn more and faster, because I’m expected to be Mother’s little helper.  To those that followed, I may not have done what they have wanted or expected, but at the time,  I felt I was doing my best. Forgive me,   if I did not   please you as you may have wanted – – I did not know then – – what I know now!

Sometimes in Life , things happen which we as children, do not understand, and we do not like the situation, we are in, but we must continue living and Help each other,  to a better place.

Everyday of your Life, you gave to your family, you suffer so much as a child, while you were married,  and even after death. Father,  in  Heaven,  bless my Mother, more than she would have ever expected. Amen!

Bookmarks

Grandma was just telling me about something that all children can make , and who ever receives, ‘It’, will keep, ‘It”, forever.

It’s a ‘Bookmark’!!

Grandma said, to go through  all of your  mail, for colorful envelopes, and depending on the age of child, some will use beginners ‘ scissors, and older  children  and adults , could use pinking shears.

If using envelopes, cut strips, keeping the folded edge in place, so as to put this finished Bookmark over the top of page in your book.

Avoid any area with writing or that  area  that the post office used.

Using colorful pencils and or stickers, let the child draw something, their choice, and don’t let them forget to sign and date for the occasion.

If some of the Bookmarks, have  a fold at the top, have the child put on the  back side,  xoxoxoxoxo, for all  of the hugs and kisses… that   they want their Love Ones , to receive,  Forever!    xoxoxo

Remember Mama

This week, May 5th through May 13th, has always been a hard time mentally to work out since my Mother died, and was buried  on May 13th, 1974.  Each day and everything that happened, that week,  I remember. I wonder what could I have  done differently, and could Mom , have lived longer?

I know and hear of people dying on the news, all the time, but when your own Mother goes, that step in life, is just too hard to take.

Remember your Mother, this year, every day, as  one, never knows how many days we each receive,  to celebrate life, with our Love  ones. Mothers don’t ask for gifts – the greatest gift Mom wishes for, is You, and some tine together to enjoy.   Your , ‘Time’ is worth millions in the ‘Love’, shared.

Gail….2012..05..13

“Lucky 13″and Happy Mother’s Day , Gail !   What a day this Sunday will be for you. Extra portions of Love,   for  a Big and Happy Birthday,    and  this  year   it’s Mother’s Day,    and all   Grandmas get   all the Love in the World.     Just  for being  a “Grandma,” too!

“Gail” is a name I’ll bet more girls  would like to have.  The meaning for “Gail,” makes it truly a happy day for father,  because   it translates to    “Father’s Joy”.    Young parents may like   “Gail,”  as  “Daddy’s Joy” or even better,    “Daddy’s  little bundle of Joy!”

I hope my special friend,   Gail  is thrilled ,   for my wish for you   is to have God’s   best blessings,   forever.

Art & Design Dept.

Today’s child surely has his or her own Special Place in the home , to prepare and arrange, ‘Top Notch Projects‘. In my day, during WW II, and at our home, we called ‘It”, ‘Headquarters’.

What I’ve always enjoyed most, is receiving  something personally drawn, colored, pasted and or glued together, by my sons , and the grandchildren. I still read every word ,written, out loud, and with my voice and sounds, making such a  Big Production, out of everything, producing  fun and laughter, for everyone to enjoy the occasion. Money can’t buy  these gifts!

On the Backside, you will read, ‘Home Made Company’, Date in one corner, Price in the other corner, $1.98. These projects are worth a million, when saved forever!

Mother’s Helper

Mother,  if you could wash and press my gym suit, I’ll be able to “win” at Saturday’s meet? Mother, it’s my turn to bring cupcakes, to school for our class, Party Day?  Tomorrow??

Mommy, I can’t find anything to play with? Dear, I will need my good suit  from the cleaner’s, before Friday ‘s Sales Meeting??

Every week, every month, all year long, Mother answers the call, and always with Love.

This Mother’s Day, let’s treat Mother, like the “Queen”  she is , with so much Love,  cause it has to last a Year!!!
