Alan and the Girls!

img078

Alan invited everybody to his “BIRTHDAY PARTY” and everybody dressed in their  “cool” easy on the eyes Summer Fashion!

If you were at the party to sing “Happy Birthday Alan” – and  -many – many  – more…   – never can tell  – but,  you may be seeing your  “photo”  here, too!

Sure hope that “whoever”  was taking pictures  – found out how to hold those new kind of cameras  extra  steady  – because it sure looks like  – to me –   that someone moved?!

“Every Hair in Place!”

img077

When you have to drop everything you are doing  – when you are a “KID” – that means, that I have to stop playing with my friends  – take a shower  – get myself all dressed up  – as if I was going to England, to visit the Queen of England  – everyone knows that we are related  – all this and that just to pose half  of a dozen and more  different ways  – I do not think  that the Queen will remember me,  –   anyway?

Can you tell that  – I’m trying to keep a straight face –  I have to keep my attention where the Photographer is directing me to look – into the camera –  so that when this photo gets hung on the “WALL” and someone is looking at me  – and they move to another part of the room  – they will say, “Alan is following me –  no matter where I go in this room  – he is looking  – right at me!”

“An Enthusiastic Smile – Wow’s me!”

img076

“Alan is so KEEN – in all that he does!”  That’s how I would  talk in the 1950’s and  Alan’s eagerness to pose for the best picture for “GRANDMA” to have of him – today – just makes  my day!

When they say –   “kids open up a gift and then   – play with the box”  – that’s not true when it comes to my Grand-son, Alan!  Alan loves to receive gifts that require lots of thought and a million parts – so that he can make something   – per the directions –   and with lots of variations  –  hopefully enough parts to make several items  –  and something that will absolutely “KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF!”

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY” to  You!      “Happy Birthday   –  dear Alan!”

Every “BOY” needs a Dog!

img075

How does that saying go? “Every BOY needs a dog to adore him…and a cat to bring him back to reality!”

One thing that I can say for sure is…    “Alan always lets you know with his big smile   –  that what ever gift you just gave to him   –  the gift is worth a million to him!”  Alan’s  “BIG” smile is  the “proof of the pudding”   –   no matter what.  In looking closely at the  “DOG” in this picture – he looks so happy and secure  – with it’s head close to Alan’s heart  –  the “DOG” knows that this is the best place for him to be  – and that is  –  to stay in the arms of Alan,  who will be giving him lots of love and good care!

“More Makes Merriment!”

img074

The more we can get together   – the “Merrier”   we can get! When it comes to the time for a  “BIRTHDAY PARTY”   – let’s hurry up and get-together  – now!   July 1st,  will be here before  you know it  –  and like you say – “BIRTHDAYS”  should be celebrated for a  whole week   – just so you know and get the whole  “feelly good deal”  –  seeing all the family and friends  – and enjoying every minute  –  for as long as possible?

“Three Cheers for ALAN”   it’s his  Birthday    – July 1st   –  be there or be square   – everybody is invited!    “OK!”

“This is the Life!”

img073

When you find that you have “TIME”  – to just be with the ones you “LOVE”  – and there is no big hurry to rush  the  time  – that the whole world stops time – just for those  –   who are going to remember these “precious moments”  – for a “LIFE-TIME!”

The “precious children”  you receive  – are only  so small and so enjoyable – if  you will only   remember that   – these “TIMES”  with our small children go by too  fast  – and can never-ever be duplicated   –  Never, ever again  – can we have  – that  wonderful  – short pasage of “TIME”  –  a second  longer or to ever think we will do it once more?

Love your small children now – tomorrow could be too late!
