“Grand-Children help Celebration!”
This is one of the best and favorite “Photos” – that I have of the Grand-Children – only wish that it was not so blurred – or is it my old eyes that just do not focus in as well as thay used to do.The special occasion for the dress-up – was to honor the family “Great-Grandmother – and just looking at this photo – shows the “sparkle” that was put in the the big celebration. The girls were “Happy” and so was everyone attending!
It is a wonderful thing – the camera – just to have lots of old photos of special events and occasions – almost forgotten – but when you want to remember events and revive old memories of the best of times that were celebrated – it sure pays to have the old photos – and be able to re-enjoy – everything all over again and again! “Pink sure is – A Happy Color – and really looks good on the girls!”

The best of things in “LIFE” is to have your – “Pocket Book of Wishes” – the one each of us receive just before we enter into this “LIFE” here – to always be re-filled with extra “GOOD WISHES” that we receive from all of our family and friends! “Here’s to wishing that you receive the ‘most’ of the “Good Wishes” ever possible!”

“I have my Pink Party Dress on!”
“My big sister, Alyssa has her blue party dress on and she and I are ready – for my “Birthday Party” to begin?” The door bell has been ringing and I’m guessing everybody is here and ready to see me – and I am so happy to see all my family and friends – I just don’t know what all my parents have planned for everybody to do – and I’m so excited – cause I just love to be at parties – especially when they are for me!
Alyssa told me that she has some extra special games for all the people to play and win some beautiful prizes, that she picked out – so that everybody that came for the party and plays the games – will want to come back to our next party – because they will remember that this is the place that goes all out for a real good time to celebrate someone’s extra special occasion!

“I’m a Big Girl NOW!”
“I know that I’m a “BIG GIRL” – NOW – cause I have beautiful “NEW” teeth!” “Grandma whispered into my ear – that she wants a big piece of my ‘BIRTHDAY CAKE’ – cause she heard that I’m LUCKY – and if she gets a big piece of my LUCKY cake – she will be extra, LUCKY, too!” “Is that true – or does Grandma just like LUCKY cake?”“
“So in case your invitation did not arrive in the mail box yet – look again – and if you don’t get it – just write on a piece of fancy paper that I invited you and hand that to who-ever opens the door – and thay will let you join in my BIRTHDAY PARTY, too!”

“Hold “ME” for your BIG HUG!”
“If you could move the “SUN” out of the way – I could open my eyes better!” I’m only 5 months old – but, I still want to give all my Family a BIG Hug and Kiss – since it will be a big birthday party for me this Sunday!” The funny thing I heard someone say the other day was – “that I was as cute as a button?” “Do I look as cute as a button – to You?” “What do buttons look like anyway – all I see anybody using around me is a couple of big “saftety pins” to keep me in diapers when they run out of the new “PAMPERS” – and keep me all nice and dry!” “Or I’ll cry – and I bet you – I’ll get someoe’s attention – and in a big hurry!” “You know us babies just love to get someone all riled up – and watch them all running to get a bottle – and when does not work – check my bottom and see if there is a leak!”
“O my “O” what a laugh I get when I see everybody all stirred up just over – little ol’ me – then I know they will pick me up and “HUG ME” and my arms are wide open – right now!”

“Happy Birthday Gail!”
“Happy Birthday Gail!” Here’s wishing many more “Happy Birthdays” and forever! This picture taken on our Graduation Day is the mental picture I will always remember of you – this was a terrific day for all of us to be leaving German St. Vincent’s Home and School. I only wish that we had – had a group picture taken on June 8th, 1952 – so that we would all be able to remember the class-mates we grew up with.
You may remember this picture of you taken on the same picture with me and it was ‘good -luck’ that my Dad was able to get us both on the same photo – and without us knowing. This is a “first” for me to try something without asking for “HELP!” Was not for sure if I could – but I pulled up this picture and was able to take you off the original photo of both of us, and put you here – just for your Birthday. Do have to say – “YOU sure look good!” “Have the best Birthday ever and with all of Almighty God’s blessings!”
