What should I remember???

Some times I need  HELP!

Do not ask me to remember,

Don’t try to make me understand,
Let me rest and know you’re with me,
Kiss my cheek and hold my hand.
I’m confused beyond your concept,
I am sad and sick and lost.
All I know is that I need you
To be with me at all cost.
Do not lose your patience with me,
Do not scold or curse or cry.
I can’t help the way I’m acting,
Can’t be different though I try.
Just remember that I need you,
That the best of me is gone,
Please don’t fail to stand beside me,
Love me ’til my life is done.

FourGrandmas.com is my “legacy” to my children and grandchildren to fill them with the answers they may ask as some period in time – questions always come up – what or why did this happen this way in the family – and so with pictures of the times and family members – it will leave a starting place for the next generation to continue on? Maybe ?
I only wish all that I heard and seen as a kid – I would have written some facts down – to help remember and pass on.
Check out April 3rd, 2014 “FOg and Storms” – on Fourgrandmas.com – that contains several days writing of maybe 500 words – each – of one of the trips we took
Thanks for all the help and information you give to all of “want – a – be – better writers!

Just thought that – – that a good word needs to be sent to all of the above posted writers – I am still doing some witting on the fourgrandmas.com – my legacy that my grandson Alan set up for me – – so – – that all the family will have a remembrance of my life and the lives of all the family – – that I have photos of – – and also – – the new day to day stuff that I can think of – – to post.

Check out “Words to LIVE by.” – something that I posted today. Still learning and hoping to do better…each day. – – Thanks for reading and your comments – Mary Ellen

“Teachers learn…Facts of LIFE…”

There was the day when…so many of us would listen to the “Art Lnkletter”  House Party program on TV… just to hear all the silly stuff the young children would say. It was amazing to hear all of the stuff that these children would say…and who would have thought …that the young children even heard and remembered…so much of what is happening…daily in our homes???

Another place that our children can speak up…and with such authority as if  speaking  the Gospel truth…is in the Class Room at school and also in their Sunday Class Room at the Church …when learning the BIBLE Lessons.

The other day …while listening to just one  such a program…this is what I had heard. In a Bible study …Class Room setting…all young children in attendance – – the Teacher was asking the students  about what the children knew about GOD? “Do any of you students…know where GOD lives?”

Well… there was a very young boy…waving his hand so hard…he wanted to be called on…as he was just beaming so proudly…he just knew that he had the  correct answer… to this question!  So… the Teacher motioned for this little boy to give his answer.

The little boy blurted out so fast…”GOD lives at our house!”  So…the Teacher asked the little boy…”How do you know… that GOD lives at your house… and not somewhere else?”

So…for a “GOLD STAR” on this little boy’s report card…he is just  so eager to give his answer…”Every morning …when my FATHER gets up in the morning…the first thing… while walking down the hall… that he does…My FATHER … will knock on the BATH ROOM Door…and  then…he screams in a  very loud voice … “OH.. .GOD… You’re   still in there???”

This is for all those…who have questions about the “where-a-bouts” of where they might find “GOD.”  We often hear  that which   children say – – but… what… they pick up… lots of things that are said in the HOME …  and not quite understanding all of our wailing …that will  take place in very  clear and loud tones of excitement – – but  without knowing all of  the facts…some things just seem to stick in their  little  brains  – – just waiting for someone to ask the right questions  – – – just to clear the “AIR” – – and set straight the information…that really makes no sense at all???

“Create…JOY – on the First Work Day…”

Read this message…see… if  it applies to you …as well as to me? I sure would like to compare this first  ‘work’ day…with others…just to see if this works for all …WHO …just might read???

On this day of your life,
Mary Ellen, I believe God wants you to know…

…that as you start the first full work week of the New
Year you should do no ‘work’ at all.
The point of your activities throughout the day is not to
make a living, but to make a life; not to ‘work’ but to
create joy. If you are doing what you are doing merely
to ‘pay the bills,’ you will have missed the major reason
for All Of Life.

The purpose of life is to know and express Who You
Are. If you do other than that during the days and times
of your life, you will have not used those days and times
in a way that profits your soul. It is soul profit we are
after here, not body profit.

This first week of the New Year is a good time to
contemplate that, yes?
