“Live LIFE – LOVE – TODAY – FOREVER”
1920 – Notice long hair and very long skirts… Click on to enlarge.
This PHOTO – – has a lot to tell us…. in the center is my GRANDMA, “ANNE E. SMART BRADY” – – and in her younger days – – as she did live to be in her 80’s! Another thing about this PHOTO is that it is the oldest of any of my “GRANDMA ANNE” – as there are several in her older and more worn out looking days… considering she only had thirteen (13) children – – and the last of her children to be born in 1900 – – and of course you know who that was… you see her… in the above PHOTO – – and we had a hard time getting the image to appear – – as best as we could – – standing on the right side of the PHOTO – – is my MOTHER – to – be “MARIE” – – and she sure does look so “HAPPY” – – must have been “MOTHER’s DAY” – – when the photo was taken.
There is one “LESSON” in LIFE – – that I just keep forgetting – – whatever I say – something “too” positive or negative – – I need to sit on the fence – just looking through my gallery of photos – and found two (2) other – – old photos – – these are are the youngest of “Miss ANNE E. SMART” – – and another – – so …….
Here is the “Mr. and Mrs. Thomas F. Brady” – – My Mother’s MOTHER and FATHER – – and when they were married – – and – all of the time – that they were married – — and – all of the time – that they were married – – ANNE’s MOTHER came to live with them! — This must have truly been a very blessed FAMILY – – as just – – how many young men – – do you know – that will
“WELCOME” the “MOTHER – in- LAW” – to be a permanent FAMILY member – – and – – they must have had a very happy relationship – – as they all lived long lives – – and in to their 70’s and 80’s – – something to think about???
Inquiring Minds…want to know – – so if you are… up to date … reading the BIBLE – – you will find that the “Fifth Commandment” (the 5th) gives a promise – – – truly LOVE and Respect your PARENTS – – and you will receive a long LIFE! If you can do that – – You will find that you will LOVE and be CONTENT with your PATH here on earth – – finding enjoyment in all of the plans our CREATOR has for you! “Moderation – in everything – – – is the “KEY” WORD!”
This is the spot – – for me to proclaim to the ALMIGHTY – – – how grateful and thankful – – that I am – – for all of the tremendous “GIFTS” – – that – – HE has given to me!
Looking at the above PHOTO – – can you see all the LOVE of LIFE – – that your eyes are taking in… millions of anything you could have – – could not buy – – all the LOVE surrounding me… – – as you can see by the card that I am holding… It is… MOTHER’s DAY – – – – and this is forever – – – one of the GIFTS on the TOP of my THANK YOU YAHWEH – lists – – this is the memory that I most cherish!
Evidently… these wonderful “GIFTS” started generations and generations – – long before anyone ever thought about – – who along our lines of marriages and children to follow – – will find – – that by reading the TRUTH and WORD – – just to be a “TRUE BELIEVER” – – when you find that narrow path less traveled – – the reward will be so… great! So.. in the above PHOTOS and lots of others on this site – – everyone did their part – – and I hope to pass this info on to those that follow me – – and in hopes that all enjoy – – all… just as I have enjoyed – – keeping the memory – – in my heart – – to take with me wherever… and when ever!

“For Such a “TIME” as This”
———- Can you see – – LOVE in the faces of MOTHER and BABY, DENNY – – and the concern of big sister, MARY ELLEN – – – – –
This PHOTO – – is one of my favorite’s – – If ever you need to see…”MOTHER’s LOVE” – – – this is the “one” PHOTO – – – – – the story of LOVE – – is what you see and remember! – FOREVER…
This PHOTO – – of my MOTHER taken from the rear – – showing little baby DENNY’s face – – – also shows that “MOM” still has her good shape – – – and making us – DENNY and me so comfortable and truly LOVED!
And just one year later…. our little brother, TOMMY is born… and in the “PHOTO” posted here – – and done in color – – – is having his first baby PHOTO – – that I have been able to find. Of course – – I am just old enough to stand as guard – – the “Guardian Angel” to keep baby, TOMMY from making a movement – – for which he would take a fall – – and it was up to me to make sure – – that – that did not happen! (Looks like I am ready… for anything???)
Here we all are – – baby, TOMMY on “MOM’s” lap and sitting in the big rocker – – – and little DENNY in the little rocking chair – – and of course that is me, MARY ELLEN – – standing “GUARD” – – just in case something is needed – – something falls – – as I always had the “Wings of Mercury” on my heels – always running and in a hurry – – to be where I was needed – – and this helped me when in school – – as I was also the “Basketball STAR” – – so maybe to keep the body moving – you get where you are going! (You can have a good laugh – – HERE!)
This is “DESTINY” – – – Here is where you would ask the question. .. “Why would we three wonderful children – ever – need to go to an “ORPHAN’s HOME” – – when are parents were alive – – and all things in LIFE – – on the surface looked good?”
If you are a”TRUE BELIEVER” – – and take the time to read the BIBLE – Psalm 139 – – that is where you will see that – – our CREATOR – – has a plan for us – and before we were even a thought to our parents – – our LIFE – had a pre-destined plan – – and most of the TIME – – that is what we follow – – and all for the GLORY of the ALMIGHTY!
In this PHOTO – – you are seeing a small addition to the FAMILY! Now, in the year 1946… my sisters KATHLEEN and EVER KAREN, identical twins were born – – one of the TWINS did not live – although each of the twins did weigh “eight and a half” pounds – – and my MOM was 46 years old – – Even with all the trials and tribulations that each of us have – – all of our days here – – some make it and some do not – –
If “FACES” – – can speak – – we all look very “HAPPY” – – and do you know WHY – – “When a FAMILY is together – – no matter what else in LIFE – – It is that LOVE of the FAMILY together – – that is so strong – and LOVE just shows through!” – – “That is why – – one must remember – – that this one “MOMENT” – – is all we have – – and to learn to LOVE and LIVE in that only for sure MOMENT of TIME – – is all we ever really have – – and if there is more… TIME for us – – then try to “TREASURE” in your MEMORY BANK – – all the LOVE that you LUCKY to collect!”

“MARIE BRADY in 1935”
— CLICK ON PHOTO — TO BETTER VIEW the PEOPLE —
This PHOTO is in Saint Louis, Missouri – –
On the left is Helen Brady – – and this is her home on Fair Avenue – – and this is at the intersection of Lexington – – in the year 1935.
The focus of this PHOTO is on the “DOG” – – can you guess what the “DOG’s” name is……. – – Everybody is admiring “MICKEY MOUSE” – – so naturally – – who ever is taking this photo – – certainly did not think that – – just maybe – – in a hundred years from then – – someday some one – – might want to see the face of the adults – – especially – and since the main person in this photo – – is the young lady on the right side of this photo – – “MARIE BRADY” – – who in the future wail… be my MOTHER!
That is correct – – that very good looking and young lady – – on the back of this PHOTO wrote… “This is how skinning and flat – – I was then!” So …since so many of these old photos – – do not have information as to “WHO” is in the photo – – I sure am glad that my MOTHER – – after having been married in 1936 and then having me – – in 1937 – and each thereafter – – another child – – as that was the thing to do – back – then – – the rules of being married and having children has completely changed today- – but one thing for sure – – and I am so glad to have the FAMILY that I have – – I just cannot even – – imagine any other type of FAMILY – – that would be better!
After having six children – – including a set of twin girls – – and every child … weighting in – – of at least “eight and a half pounds” – – it is no wonder that – – a woman will not look like she did – – in those days when young and beautiful and in the BEST of physical shape! – – So – – after several years – – and looking through old photos – – just had to write that message – – that – there was a day – – once upon a time – – as to having had… the best of of shape!
NOW… back to the PHOTO – – the little girl – – guessing that she – – also is a cousin – – since she is in lots of these old photos – – – her name is “BOOTS MORRISON” – – and since so many of the BRADY FAMILY and COUSINS – – live on FAIR AVENUE – – these were days when my MOTHER – to – be – – in those days – – did visit with lots of the FAMILY – – and these were the days – when most of the people did a whole lot of walking – – as they all surrounded the “FAIR GROUND PARK” – and there are quite a few old PHOTOS – – of FAMILY and FRIENDS – – and all taken in and around the PARK!
Just thinking…. the more one will WALK – – the better their PERSONAL shape. I know that to be true – – as – I also walked all around the NORTH SAINT LOUIS area – – – and when doing – – looked like “super woman!”

“Wind Beneath My Wings” (sometimes titled “The Wind Beneath My Wings” and “Hero”) is the title of a song written in 1982 by Jeff Silbar and Larry Henley.
They recorded a demo of the song, which they gave to musician Bob Montgomery. Montgomery then recorded his own demo version of the song, changing it from the mid-tempo version he was given to a ballad. Silbar and Henley then shopped the song to many artists, eventually resulting in Roger Whittaker becoming the first to release the song commercially.
It appeared on his 1982 studio album, also titled Wind Beneath My Wings. Following Whittaker’s recording, many other artists recorded the song, including Sheena Easton (who also recorded it in 1982). Easton’s version appeared on her 1982 studio album Madness, Money & Music, though it was not released as a single by her record company.
She did, however, perform it on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, The Merv Griffin Show, her HBO live concert special, as well as her NBC television special. The first year “Wind Beneath My Wings” appeared on music industry trade publication charts in the United States was 1983.
Singer Lou Rawls was the first to score a major hit with the song, as his version peaked at #10 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart, as well as #60 on the Billboard Hot Black Singles chart and #65 on the main Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
Gladys Knight & The Pips also released a recording of the song in 1983 under the title “Hero”, and their version peaked at #64 on Billboard’ Hot Black Singles chart[2] while also reaching #23 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart.
Singer Gary Morris released a country version of the song in 1983 that charted highest on any of the Billboard music charts that year. Morris’s version of the song peaked at #4 on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles chart, and also later won both the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association awards for Song Of The Year.
The highest-charting version of the song to date was recorded in 1988 by singer and actress Bette Midler for the soundtrack to the film Beaches. This version was released as a single in early 1989, spent one week at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in June 1989, and won Grammy Awards for both Record of the Year and Song of the Year in February 1990. On October 24, 1991, Midler’s single was also certitifed Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America for shipment of one million copies in the United States.
“Wind Beneath My Wings” has also been recorded by Kerry Ellis, Colleen Hewett, Lee Greenwood, B.J. Thomas, Willie Nelson, Kenny Rogers, Patti LaBelle, Eddie & Gerald Levert, John Tesh, Judy Collins, Shirley Bassey, Israel Kamakawiwoʻole, Sonata Arctica, Chyi Yu and Perry Como.
Donald Braswell II recorded this song on his 2011 album, Unchained. Sergio Franchi recorded this song on his last album, Encore in 1989 .From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
