Go Vote!
We want to encourage all of our readers to get out today and VOTE!

We are also asking our Bott Radio Network family to commit to earnest prayer and supplication today on behalf of our deeply divided nation. We trust that America is in God’s hands, and we seek His favor as we hold this historic election.

As Jesus taught His disciples to pray, so we petition our Father and ask for “His will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

“Pass On… SOME LOVE…”

“Sometimes a “cartoon” – – gives us … INSPIRATION… to  pass on  “LOVE” to those  “NEAR”  and “DEAR” to us – – as nothing else  – – at that very moment of NEED!”

“One Day… with Young TOM”

“YES… I’m still waiting for my ride – –  Sometimes I just have to wait – –  as my RIDE – – will not WAIT… for me!”

img207

“Sure is good that I have a big sister, Mary Ellen… and she   does like to cook – – – she likes to make “PAN-CAKES” – – she was making “PAN-CAKES” years ago for  – – Virgil and Ronald Struck…. they were younger than us and lived across the street.img206Before breakfast…. I do have to make myself ready for the NEW DAY – –

This is Me, myself – – just have to get each and every hair  – – in the right place – – and “YES” – – that is a CIGAR – and why would I smoke a CIGAR??? – – even I do not know why I would have thought – – that  – – that would have been the THING… to do way back and then!

img205

“OH… How can you stand there…  and call me…  so many times… I heard you the first times!”

“I will call you in about five minutes – – when…  I will be ready to eat?” “This getting up so early is wearing me out – – sure will be glad when the day comes – – and I will not have to get up … so early!”

img204

Evidently… someone did not hear the “ALARM –  CLOCK” – – so it looks  – – like I should take some PHOTOS  of little “TOMMY” – – so I can show him – – when the occasion occurs… – – just how difficult it is to get him up and out of the bed – – and follow him around – – just to be sure “TOMMY”  is able to get himself – – all ready for his ride to work.

img203

“What does some-one do… when their little brother, TOMMY – – can not hear the alarm clock ring and ring…  AND  “RING” for the over – – the  one-hundredth TIME?”

Everyone does have an “internal clock” – – but when is it that it finally kicks in and wakes us…  in TIME to get ready…  for WORK?

“Impending Supermoon Sparks Apocalypse Fears”

A historic supermoon due to occur later this month has spawned another round of fears that it could be a sign that the End Times are upon us.

Astronomers say that the celestial event, which will happen on November 14th, will be the biggest supermoon since 1948.

And, as has become a habit among those with apocalyptic concerns, the looming supermoon is being seen by some as a possible harbinger of doom.

They note that 1948 was the year that Israel became a nation and, thus, perhaps 2016 will be another pivotal year in religious history.

Adding to that theme, conspiracy theorists point to the opening of the crypt thought to have once contained the body of Jesus as another sign that the long-awaited Second Coming could be happening soon.

Should nothing occur during the mid-November supermoon, claims of that the End Times are at hand will likely revive in December when another such celestial event takes place again.

The December event will mark the third consecutive month that has featured a supermoon, a fact that is not lost on those who look to the skies for clues to an impending apocalypse.

While some may scoff at the idea that November’s supermoon is part of a larger series of signs warning humanity that dark days are ahead, considering that the Cubs just won the World Series, we may want to start taking these concerns a bit more seriously.

“DID… “Amelia Earhart” survive…”

An intriguing new study appears to strengthen the case for the theory that Amelia Earhart survived whatever downed her plane and, in fact, ultimately perished as a castaway.

The fate of the famed aviatrix has captivated researchers since she went missing while attempting an around-the-world flight in 1937.

Traditionally, much of the investigation into the Earhart mystery has centered around searching for potential pieces of her plane in areas of the Pacific Ocean where she was last spotted on radar.

However, the research group known as TIGHAR, which has doggedly pursued the Earhart mystery for years, believe they may have uncovered a powerful new clue to the case.

The organization commissioned a study into bones which were found in 1940 on an atoll in the Pacific Ocean where many believe Earhart may have landed.

The remains had been examined when they were first discovered, but experts at the time said they could not have come from Earhart and the bones were subsequently lost.

This is particularly maddening because, if the bones were still available today, DNA testing may have been able to conclusively connect them to Earhart.

Alas, that is not to be, so researchers are left to think ‘outside the box’ in an attempt to glean information from the mysterious remains.

Fortunately, TIGHAR managed to obtain records which included precise measurements from the initial examination of the bones.

In turn, the group enlisted forensics expert Jeff Glickman to look at the data for any possible connection that may have been missed over sixty years ago.

And, according to Glickman, that appears to be the case.

Using photographs of Earhart from the era, he concluded that the length of the pilot’s forearm was “virtually identical” to that of the bones discovered in 1940.

Although, TIGHAR concedes that the findings do not definitively solve the Earhart mystery, they do seem to lend credence to the possibility that she died as a castaway.

While we may never know what became of Earhart, the new study is a good reminder that there could still be fresh insights to various mysteries hidden in old data just waiting to be seen with modern eyes.

Coast Insider that want to take a deep dive into the Amelia Earhart mystery should check out the 12/12/2014 edition of the program featuring researcher and filmmaker Richard Martini.
