“Caught on Camera”
“Do you remember those old shows on television – – a hundred years ago – – you just never knew when some one would be lurking around a hidden spot – – just to catch you doing something that you should not have been doing!”
“Well… TODAY… everyone should be very careful – – of what you are doing – – since everyone except “ME” has one of those hand held gadgets – – and they are always ready to catch you – – in the worse of times – and doing what you would not want the whole wide world to see you doing?”
So here I am… fork in hand – – once heard that you should always carry a “FORK” in your hand – – so that when you travel to the next world – – at least you will be ready to eat… there is more to the tale – – but for Now…
My Grand-son Alan rode his bike over to my house and I was already sitting in the living room to watch something – – while I enjoyed my “Waldorf Salad” – – and while talking… Alan received a message – – and the hand-held gizmo is in his hand – – and evidently he decided to snap a photo of me!
Alan asked if it was okay to take a PHOTO – – said that I looked so much different with my hair down – – that it was getting so long – – and of course I had to mention… that when it gets long enough I will braid it – – like I did maybe a hundred years ago??? The lighting was not too good – – he may have taken more – – and also said that he was sending a copy to the girls, Alyssa and Jaime – to keep them in the loop – – – and they replied back – – that the Photos were good – – so naturally… I said… “Send me a copy, too!”
So… the evening went – – ME with the salad and Al and also Alan remembering one good old time story that had happen so long ago – – these stories all had whiskers — but that is the FUN of just sitting around remembering things that had happened… that were funny then… and NOW – – even more FUN just re-living some of the old stuff that we did and some that was on the hazy – – dazy side – – but telling it NOW – – we could laugh and enjoy!
With this kind of an “old story” telling – – one story better than another – – I got so caught up in this “gift of gab” – – for got all about having a dish of “ICE CREAM” – – which was very good for “ME” – – when… I weigh myself this morning – -I lost one pound! NOW… that is what I call a very good evening – – more FUN and GAMES – – and no “ICE CREAM” – – makes for a steady loss of the excess pounds – – that are collected with out even trying. If only I could do that every night???
“So – – GLAD… that I was not “CAUGHT on CAMERA” – – putting several spoonfuls of “ICE CREAM” in to my mouth – – and just before bed time – – as that is when the pounds just seem to enjoy doing double duty – – adding more pounds per the small… very tiny ounce D.V.
