“Over the River and Through the Woods”
“To Grandmother’s House we go…”
“Just thinking… with all of this fresh SNOW coming down… so nice and softly… we may as well take cover, in one of our favorite little hiding places…”
“Like all good little ole bears…let’s find for us…a very cozy nice warm place and take cover… nothing last forever… and before you know it… it will be Spring, and the weather will be just so inviting, we will start looking for that nice place … where all of our friends can find us… and join in some nice friendly games…”
Tomorrow … will be here soon, so connect NOW… with all of our friends in “Sunset Park”… letting everyone know… that we will have a real big and most enjoyable “PICNIC” right here at this nice long table, and that is for all of our extra special friends… with plenty of good eats… everything that each of us likes the mostest and the best!”
…and… a little “NOTE” to make and to remember is…
“Pass this very good word on… to all of our good “FRIENDS”… that we have a big heart… with lots of room in it, for all of those, that we do not get to see and hear from as often as we did… but, we will… never ever forget you… as all of our memories from way back and when… and then to our forever more and always … will be of you and you… all our friends!”

“Today the Big 9th…We Will Celebrate”
This is one of the very first full “FAMILY” Photos taken at the AIRPORT!
I’m, the “Grandma” Ellen holding “big sister, Alyssa” and in front of me, and in his “CUB Scout” outfit is “BIG BROTHER, Alan” – left of me and in the center is “Jill, new Mama” – and next to “Jill” is “Daddy, Al” and holding our brand new “baby, JAIME” – and this is one of those Fun Days when DADDY and MOMMY will be taking off in their plane!
And guess what???
I will be baby sitting all three of the best of best GRAND-Children! “And will we be having “FUN” like never before!”
“They do not call “ME” their “Fun Grandma” for nothing!”
“Just you watch and see – all the FUN things that we will be doing!”
“This is to those… two extra special people, born on January 9th, just looks like the “9th” was a very “terrific day” for us, to first receive “Al” and then – so many years latter, our sweet baby “GRAND-DAUGHTER, “Alyssa” – which makes for having more LOVE to share with all of the FAMILY!
Especially… when the “ninth of January” comes around each year and also every year … just as regular… as very good clock work!
…and just for my most wonderful Grand-daughter, Alyssa….
“May the Almighty Yahweh continue to bless these two wonderful people, with all of the extra special BLESSINGS – that, they will need to do Your work – for You – here on EARTH!”

“STEPHEN FOSTER MEMORIAL DAY”
Stephen Foster Memorial Day on January 13th commemorates the music of the man who composed hundreds of America’s first popular songs.
Born in Lawrenceville, Pennsylvania on July 4, 1826, Stephen Foster became known as America’s First Composer. His catchy tunes based on minstrel songs are still known today.
Despite Foster’s exclusive music contract with Firth, Pond, and Company, when he died at the age of 37, he was penniless. While his songs were wildly popular, the lack of copyright protection and alcoholism left him with nothing of value to show for his work.
During his short life, Foster wrote over 200 songs. His best-known compositions include “Oh! Susanna,” “Camptown Races,” “Old Folks at Home,” “My Old Kentucky Home,” “Jeanie with the Light Brown Hair,” “Old Black Joe,” and “Beautiful Dreamer” and are still very popular today.
Foster died on January 13, 1864, at the age of 37.
