“HOW MANY Candles ALAN”

“Watch and count the number of “CANDLES’ that I put on your cake ALAN — as I do not want to put too many on – – and I do want to have the correct number of  “CANDLES” on this cake for your BIRTHDAY!”

There are more than just this  one cake for you, ALAN – – since some of the guests want another variety  of cakes – – I can put a few “CANDLES” on another cake – – just so you can blow out the correct umber of “CANDLES” – – because…   “I heard that if you do not blow out all of your “CANDLES” – – you do not get to be another year older!”

“You know how some people look older  – – than the age that they say that they are – – that is  just because they did not blow out all of your “CANDLES” – –  and for the rest of their LIFE – – they kind of look like an old “dried Up Prune” – –  so I know that you want to always look your age – – not a day older and not a day younger!”

“How’s that for an old “Grandma’s Tale” – – if you have the dime – – then… I have the time for some more silly old stories that just many have whiskers — as they are so old and half dried up!”

Have to hurry up here – – everybody is waiting for me to carry this cake out – – and all lit up – – like a “Fire-cracker” ready to explode any minute – – what ya say – – we just mosey on to the next room!

“Everybody … start your singing “HAPPY BIRTHDAY to ALAN”… right NOW!”
