“More Family to remember on Memorial Day”

Here is a very old PHOTO  of my husband, Lee’s,  brother Al E. Aldrich.   “Al”  served in  “AFRICA”   when they were running around in those  “tanks”   and from what I heard, the family were   surprised that he, “AL”  was able to live through all  of the mess  of fighting, as it was being done,  as”WAR” was “HELL”  not many were able to live and,  or even survive, all of  that misery that was going on back then.

Al and his wife Thelma lived in Birmingham, Alabama for many years and operated  one of the “Dobbs House Snack Bar” a very busy restaurant and  were instrumental in bringing a “Dobbs Snack Bar” to Fort Lauderdale, Florida – when my husband, Lee was ready to retire, but wanted something to do and that we both could work at – and work together.

Blessings to,  and for Al and Thelma as we remember them  forever.       D.V.
