If only, when I found these old PHOTOS, I had ask questions about who were the girls in this PHOTO and what were you all planning to do?

On the top step and right is Martha Hoffman, and next is Marie Brady and the three other ladies, I do not have a name.

You know how it is, when you think you have someone’s name – but it just will not materialize?

Other places and on other “POSTS” – just came to me – “the DUFFY sisters!”

WOW” Sometimes I wonder what we would do, without a good working brain? I will look for their first names – but you will see other POSTS – where their names are and some of the silly things, that they did like to do, and I do believe, that they are cousins, to Marie?

When I first found these PHOTOS, I was just too young and dumb about what young girls will do, when they are old enough to be going out on “DATES” and or just as a group, going to some special attraction at some particular time of the year? Now that I used that word, “DUMB” – I do remember, that my MOTHER did refer to one of the “Duffy GIRLS” as “Dumb Dora” – so she just – must have been, really creative in what she would do, and or talk her sisters into doing? I am just wondering NOW, if some of that “DUMB Dora” stuff wore off and onto me?

Looking at this PHOTO again – just can’t imagine how they could all sit on those steps – with such nice outfits on – and not be afraid of the dirt and stuff, from the steps, maybe getting onto their clothes, and then still, be ready to go somewhere, exciting? Someone there, sure does know how, to keep a very clean house – inside and outside – down to that very bottom step!

Someday, whenever that may be – I will have to inquire of my MOTHER – just exactly what were the PLANS, for you girls – as nice as you are all dressed – I just am curious to find out? “Maybe I should really say – I just am nosy?”
