Baby Mary Ellen at 8 months in the arms of Daddy! On the back of this photo my Mother wrote – 8 months – 2 teeth – Says ‘MAMA’ – ‘Daddy’ – ‘bubub’ and other ideosyncracies! Been able to pull self up about a month. Sitting up over a month. Pulls up on knees. Scaratches back of head. Puts on hat and tries to put on stockings – at least knows where they belong! I’m “Thankful ” my Mother took the time to write down everything I was doing at the time – My Mother loved her children!
