“Tomorrow is Aunt Irene Brady Riley’s Birthday”

BILL and IRENE RILEY – Memory”

Here is …  the young “RILEY’s  and we all have seen  episodes of  that SHOW…  “the…  LIFE of RILEY” …  well  just a  big…  maybe  “they,  the  couple sitting on their  very own small back porch”  were used as the typical role models.

That Show…  was  just exactly these “RILEY’s … BILL and IRENE”  what  ever they  did and were doing and that which they did not do and exactly  “HOW” they reacted to each other and guess what, in time to come… that is when…  the whole wide world watches them on TV!

Check out those “black stockings”   those alone give you a good idea  of when this PHOTO was taken.       Is your guess… early 1900’s?

Here is what I see in this PHOTO… “IRENE”  still has her apron on, so that will tell you that she is still into the preparation of supper, or that   something  extra special is not quite ready…  for her   husband, “BILL”.

And since… he picked up the “NEWS-PAPER”  when he left the office… where he works  in the downtown,  St. Louis area,  he does not own a vehicle as yet, and it is good to be able to catch up on all of the  important “NEWS of the DAY ” as  most do… when riding on the bus.

There were so very many stops to be made, with so much valuable time  just being wasted… and why  should one waste time… but  if you have something worthwhile to do with your TIME,  as you are riding the bus, like reading the NEWSPAPER… you will have some important “NEWS of the DAY” to pass on to your dear wife.

Since  some of the  especially prepared food is running a bit longer…  looks like “IRENE” is all ears to hear about something  important going on in the world.

Now… if only her husband, “BILL”  will stop reading …. and spill the “BEANS” … “What a LIFE… for young “RILEY” … just waiting patiently?”

“IRENE”  has always receive rave reviews for all of her cooking and baking!

I know,  she taught me well, and she received the best of instructions from her MOTHER, “ANNE E. BRADY” …  because “MR. Tom BRADY” her husband said, “that he never ever wanted store bought food  of any kind!”

That is what my MOTHER,  “MARIE” verified  as a positive  fact to me! Her sister, Irene was the best  Chef and  Baker!

             “HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNT IRENE!”
