“Happy Birthday DADDY”

This is February the 2nd… is did start snowing during the night, and when we woke up… it was as a beautiful “Winter  Wonderland” to  behold!

And…  it is still snowing, and I do not know how long the SNOW is to still keep a coming… but,  so far it is nice and thick, so that when it does stop… all the kids around the “Sunset Park”  area… will be over here,  and do that which they like to do best… see how many times, that they can take a sled ride down the hill behind my property… before they start to freeze, in this cold weather!

Have to take a back tracking of “DADDY and ME” when the weather was better and we were so much younger, and in the backyard of good ole Aunt Irene….

We did send a good deal of time at Aunt Irene’s house… like I already said, it was close enough, and she wanted to see us… as she was much older, and she was always making clothes for me, as she love to sew.

Have to say …. we sure do look GREAT!

Here’s to wishing you, DADDY… the best of Birthdays…ever!

Just a few memories of   “Daddy” when he was still here on Earth…Daddy was always willing to do anything to help… still have this photo of him cleaning the ceiling of the new house we bought, when we moved back to Saint Louis…up from from Florida.

Have to start  this memory off with “Happy  Birthday”… singing it loud and clear up to Heaven…  as all good and loud songs will travel up, and ever  so high… for all the world  to enjoy… so just join in with the singing!

“Camera! Action! Take One!”

My Daddy,  Denny H. McClarren Sr. –

on… this day…suggested using  – SPIC  ‘N  SPAN – and also… volunteered to do the cleaning of the kitchen ceiling of the new home, that  I had just purchased!

So glad I took this picture  – what can I say – “WOW ” – what a difference and a memory of Dad for a life time!

Sure glad that I had a camera  with film in it… otherwise I may not have had the chance to capture  this memory of my Dad doing … just one of the many extra jobs that needed to done…when I was not able to do these extra and very necessary clean-ups…when buying a new home!

You did take notice,  of that cigarette… how does one smoke all the time…even while doing any and all kinds of work?

Hate say… that this was the cause for Daddy to have to have his one lung removed… and then, he could not… ever smoke again.

AND… everyone knows that Daddy got a kick out of everyone celebrating his Birthday… with a very full day of FUN… while  also celebrating with that “ole Groundhog”… also on the second of   every February!

“Enjoy this extra special day,  that our Great and Wonderful Creator  has made…  for all us !”
