Aug 5th “Miami Seaquarium – visited!”

While in MIAMI – do what the Miamians do! Visit the Seaquarium! That’s what we did, since we knew that Lee Sr. would be needing surgerg soon and have to come to Saint Louis, for that – and also we did not know how long or if we would have to make a permanent move – so we had several places to see – just in case we would not be back to do all this “sight-seeing” and all the required walking was almost too much for my husband to handle.

This visit to the Miami Seaquarium was a nice trip for us to make with our children – we were there to see the “Dolphins Show” and also the “Sea Lions Show” and all of the extra stunts that are done for the children’s entertainment! We would also stop and have a real good meal at one of the better grade restaurants – since this also would be a one-time only – it’s always good to see how other people are running their restaurants – we always look for good ideas for our own restaurants.

This was 1964 – a year that everybody knows where they were and what they were doing on the day that President J.K. Kennedy was shot in Dallas! “Where were you?”
