“Faith – Family – Freedom…”

Just in case you did not hear nor see the “NEWS” regarding the address – given by the new Principal of the High School in Colorado – to the students for the coming year.  In my opinion –  Dennis Prayer – should be a candidate in the  running for the position of PRESIDENT of this Country – AMERICA – as his speech is the “speech” to and for all AMERICANS – made by someone who is a “TRUE AMERICAN” – someone understanding our “TIMES” right now – and what we all need to do – to get all of us in this “Land of the Free” to return to the “Family” living in this County – working together to make America the strong Country our “Fore-Fathers” intended for our survival – making this once wild land –  an United States –

There were several very important points made  – that these High School students will be starting this new year with – but  – and since I was in an Orphanage was I was in the Grade School years – — we cannot wait  – until the High School years to try to bring children to the correct way of living  – if you are living in America – and want to be a true American – ready to fight for God and Country – to make this “LAND” a better place for the generations to follow – we need to start NOW – and with children as soon as they can understand  “ENGLISH”  – spoken in the HOME – SCHOOL – WORK PLACE –  – so that we can all understand each other  – making us  a strong FAMILY unit – that  will forever prosper – with the blessing of the Almighty!

Each of us is on the same journey – to determine what destiny we will follow – so what is the harm in a little “cooperation” – with giving a helping hand to our neighbor – would not each of us want – someone nearby to help us – when we just so happen to fall down on our path – trying to make LIFE better for our heirs???

One other item in the speech that the Principal brought out – for this new school year – is the matter of the way the children dress. It is sometimes “comical” the way some students dress – – I’m guessing that – they think that they are looking good – but if only they knew – that their fellow students are having a real good laugh – inside – – and the “Laughter” looks just as silly or maybe even worse.

When I was in “Grade School” we wore uniforms – and everyone looked the same and when I started in High School – It was uniforms again, But, mid -season in school – my Mother decided that I was to go to the Public School – and they did not have uniforms – – and that was in the 1950’s and the skirts were long – so everything that was necessary – “was covered!” Today there is no code and sometimes you would guess that the students were going to the “BEACH” instead of to “school”– and maybe they really are???

What they wear to School – they also wear to “CHURCH” – even I was surprised – by what I would call dis-respectable attire  for any type of “PUBLIC FUNCTION” – but I can see that what is worn  – is that which is now everywhere on  the television – and you can almost tell immediately those who watch too much television – just by what you see and hear – – but today – even those that should know better – do not seem to care – as to what would be appropriate – and that is in anything and everything!

When I was to start “High School” – my Mother told me that I was going there to learn how to “THINK!”  – – “To Think” – “this was just what I wanted to do – to be able to “Think”  and find out what was I going to do with the Knowledge that I had – and what about some  Wisdom  – to figure out what kind of work can I do  – to be able to take care of myself and my Mother?” So, now I’m wondering what other “PARENTS” are telling their children – what are their children to be doing in “School” – or do “PARENTS” even care — as to what their children are learning  – will they be a help to the FAMILY and THEIR-SELVES  – with this new found KNOWLEDGE and WISDOM – to be able to work and PROSPER???

“I almost wish… that I could go to the High School in Colorado – I would like to see if I could learn more than I did – the first go-around – back in the 1950’s???”
