Eve Karen, remembered!
It’s not every day you receive a mysterious message from the great beyond? While looking for just one folder, of old information , fifty years or so old, opened up an even older folder. This folder of information that I haven’t seen for years, was of pure amazement! In this folder was a list of story titles, and stories my sister, Eve Karen wrote when she was maybe seven years old.
My sister, Eve Karen died two (2) weeks before her 50th birthday. She had a very rare form of cancer, can not remember the correct name of it, but it was like the younger son’s of the “Cartwright Family” on the TV show “Bonanza.” She received this diagnosis around “Thanksgiving” and went to the hospital thinking she would be there just a couple of weeks, but one crazy thing happened after another, with her dying in the last week of January. This was almost twenty years ago!
Getting back to the stories that she wrote, as a kid, she had real talent! These stories would make up a nice “childrens’ story book.” A project to publish her stories in her name would be a good fund raiser to help find a cure. It’s a real shame , when good talent dies too soon – too early!
