Jun 15th Shortcake***** “STRAWBERRY”

Years ago – – and probably on a day like today – – nice and hot – – decided to make something special – – to eat and enjoy – – and so… with the recipe that – – my MOTHER used for “STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE” – and some delicious strawberries – – did my thing in the kitchen.

So… with my husband’s helping hand — we loaded up the car with plates and silverware – – and trays with “Strawberry Shortcakes” and off to the office – we went.

We brought everything into the office – – started setting up on a couple of tables – – and some of the office personnel – – just had to ask, “What is so special – – today – – is this some HOLIDAY – – that we do not know about?”

It was just terrific – – when everyone saw – – all that we brought in – – it was like a swarm of bees – – all around to get the HONEY! – These were the most delicious strawberry shortcakes – – and they were going – – – so fast – – One of the questions that I received was, “When do you plan on doing this again?”

When you bring “TREATS” into the office – – the first time – – – it seems that everyone has your number – – and they certainly – – do not want to take a day OFF – from work – – if ever you plan to “DO” another “STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE” treat day … at the office!
