“BRADY BROTHERS” in their younger days…
Some of the “BRADY BROTHERS” – – these PHOTOS have been posted at different times – – over the past years of looking through PHOTOS – – and then to find something on the photo to give the world a small memory of those that are in the BRADY FAMILY – – of which I now claim to be a part of – – and my best wish… would have been to have met them – – but as the world turns – – and new generations come along – – that is impossible.
This “POST CARD” of PHILL BRADY… and the back side is dated JULY 1910 – and is sent to his younger sister, Miss Marie Brady – – the youngest of the BRADY FAMILY – -and many years down the the years – – will be my MOTHER.
All of the BRADY children were born in the late 1870’s and 1880’s – – and then the last “BRADY” – the number 13th… is Marie – – and she was born 1900 – – what a wonderful year to be born.
This little boy standing
here has a story in
in another “POST”
with more information- -but just had to add it here.
It is just the way
that he is standing
that just looks… like
he knows where
he is going!
“Are small children dressed – -TODAY – – with so many clothes on – – just think back to the late “1880” days – – no wash machines like today – – to throw large loads of little kids clothes in to – – for a quick wash – – and the laundry was hung out doors on the line no dryers – – and every thing had to be hand ironed – – even the sheets and pillow-cases – – what a load for MOTHERS to do – – with large FAMILIES.”
