Here we are in church – – “German Saint Vincent Chapel” – – Just thought that a “PHOTO” of being in CHURCH on “ASH WEDNESDAY” – – would remind everyone – – that this is the beginning of LENT SEASON – – a time for us to consider – – how our walk in LIFE is going – – – a TIME for reflection – – the one thing that we can not save is TIME – -It is NOW or never – – Repent NOW – – or suffer later…forever.

This PHOTO is a little better in focus – – and … Left to Right – Grandma Aldrich…Alan and Al – – – this is a beautiful CHAPEL – – I should know – – in the 1940’s and 1950’s – – I did work in the cleaning of the left side of this Chapel – – which was the “girl’s side” – – when “Sister Columba” was the NUN in charge – – and since she was also the same NUN in charge of the “GIRLS” learning to do embroidery and crocheting and other fancy stitching – – – any time that is – – that I was not at work in CHURCH – – – no cleaning… to be done – – -I spent my free time – – making different items – – that would be used for the PICNIC sales – – to raise money for the “HOME” – – but… some of the items that I made my “AUNT IRENE RILEY” purchased – – and since she has passed on to her greater reward – – I received – these items – — and would you believe – I still have!
