In the 1980’s… it was a very popular piece of conversation… to open your wallet and … while doing so…say, “I am showing to you a PHOTO of …”MY PRIDE and JOY” – – and smile” – – just waiting for the re-action of the exclamations made by those – – that were trying to comprehend – – the PHOTO below – – ????

When this small PHOTO… only a “2 x 3” size is passed around… and you watch the “FACE” of the person holding it — – “YOU almost die laughing” – – because – – you knew from the conversation leading up to this big PHOTO – – that is coming out of the wallet – – has just been promoted as a “BIG” wonder – – something so “Marvelous” and so “extra… Special” – -and NOW – – they are almost speech-less.

Sometimes… when you are planning on going to a meeting – – and you know that you do not want to be a “WALL-FLOWER” – – that the idea of your being in attendance – – to make and meet friends – – so as to promote your business and or you have something to sell – – but in order to start up something in a friendly way – – you need an “ICE-BREAKER” … something to talk about.

So… back in those days – – when almost everyone was getting in on a terrific deal – – a “QUICK RICH” scheme to make money fast and over-night – and the most important requirement was – – you needed the “GIFT of GAB” – and just having the above little “PRIDE and JOY” PHOTO – – well… if you had the “knack” for a little “bait and switch” arouse… You were in “LIKE FLYNN” – – – – and as they say… “Let the GAMES begin” – – everyone does have their very own “PRIDE and JOY” – – it is just a natter of “TIME” – – for when “IT” will be found!
