Digging Deeper!
Several months back, I wanted everyone to know how good the Daily Guideposts 2012 Edition was and now the 2013 Edition of Inspiration is even better! This new edition has an extra feature, in that each Daily Writer has “Digging Deeper” a few extra verses from the Bible, for the reader to dig into the depth of the message for that day.
Due to my Macular Degeneration condition, the edition that I order is the large print, and with a magnifier , I’m in business. Most people want to read the bible but find it too dry and too thick to read all of it? But, with the Daily Guideposts, I received the help, needed! I start with the bible verse and read the the extra verses and the message and find the full meaning for the message – going to the bible and reading are offering so much more info – just exploring this way to get the full and real understanding.
The “Daily Writer” is directing our path for the “Day” with extra inspiration – but only for the one that wants to “dig deep” and find it! In addition to reading every day – I find my self reading 3 and 4 extra chapters – and in one year you have read the entire “Bible!” Not everything is at first understood, but when you have read the “Bible” cover to cover – it is no surprise to find the real meaning to lots of questions – the answer is there!
It was a good time when I was a little kid, my folks would visit friends and family any time and no one ever called in advance to make an appointment – but when you arrived – the coffee pot was put on and everyone had something to eat. Pure enjoyment. Of course this was long before “TV” and we kids were seen but not heard from?
You are always “welcome” to visit at “God’s House” – the “Word” – plenty of inspiring refreshments – for “seekers!”
