Jun 14th “Fly the Flag – TODAY”

“Fly the American Flag  – TODAY….

Let everyone know where you stand – and that you are proud to be an American!

TODAY… first had to listen to the MUSIC  that I would listen to as a small child and loved …”Stars and Stripes Forever” by “John Phillip Sousa”  – all of his music…    – has a way of  moving the legs into a quick step – – –   boy…  can I get a move on and  with  no aches nor pains with his music!

“You’re a  Grand Old Flag”  by “George M. Cohen” and the song “Over There” – that song – was a song my brothers and I would sing all the time – in fact –  I remember during WWII – when my MOTHER would take us with her –  on the bus going to downtown Saint Louis – we kids would just sing as if those  – that were on the bus needed to be entertained! As we would be singing  –  my youngest brother,  Tommy – would march up and down the aisle of the bus – singing as loud and everybody on the bus were so enthused – that some of the people would hand him  a few dimes – and – also –  that was when people did not have too much to spare – but –  who could turn down a blond hair – blue eyed little boy singing and dancing up and down the aisle of the bus – giving everyone smiles from “IRELAND”  – he was always an entertainer!

On…  K.M.O.X. radio station in Saint Louis – at twelve o’clock noon -“KATE SMITH” would sing  – “GOD BLESS AMERICA” by “Irving Berlin”  – this is one song that I believe  –  that all “Americans”  should be singing  – “TODAY”- and that every radio station in this UNITED STATES OF AMERICA should be playing  – so that once again  “AMERICA”  will receive  many more  blessings  –   from the Almighty Yahweh – as we really  do need  HELP!

In the movie that introduced “KATE SMITH” singing “GOD BLESS AMERICA” … “This is the ARMY, Mr. Jones…” – I watch and listen each and every time – just as if  – this is the very first time to hear and see what a   “GREAT AMERICA” and all of her people can do  –  if and when they  “REALLY”  want too???

We need to do as we did then…  “WORK TOGETHER” – “STAY UNITED” –   on this planet  “EARTH” – we are after all is said and done  – –  “ONE FAMILY of BROTHERS and SISTERS” all created by the  “ONE”  and  the only  “ONE”  –  “CREATOR!”     DV…

May 21st “Mother’s Day” is every DAY!

Like the card states… “MOTHER’s DAY”  is every day!  Little ole “MUFFINS” and little Miss  “CUP CAKES”  are my extra special and favorite  “friends” and as they are peeking around the corner – – – they are reminding me to say something special to…

All… Mothers – Mothers-in-Law – – and Grand-Mothers … that you are all very special people to all of us  – – your FAMILIES  – we Love you  … for all that you do…  everyday of the entire year  – – 24 – 7 …

Mother’s Day is celebrated on the  –  second  – Sunday in MAY  – and  we feel that  – the whole  – MONTH of MAY –  should be dedicated to give extra special honor to our MOTHERS !  We all know that if it were not for our “MOTHERS” –   where in the world would we be??? We know that some MOTHERS – have a very hard  LIFE – as we know there just is not enough cooperation in the Family  LIFE – today – everybody in the FAMILY has somewhere to be on  their own and  private road –  where  to – no one knows –  but just let the alarm  of danger or mishap  rear it’s ugly head  –   however and whenever harm knocks on our door – – – that’s when –  we all know we have our –  MOTHERS  -to call on for HELP – immediately!

“MOTHERS” will go to the ends of the earth – just to help their children – no matter the cost and or  whatever it takes  – Mother will not let harm come to her child  – she knows that the Almighty will help her – all she needs to do is to call on him –  to help her FAMILY!

May 20th “Early to Learn – Players…”

These  – “Early Music Learners” – want to play beautiful music – just for you!  This  is  Lee,Jr., and his baby brother Al –  and they  are ready  to go on tour for any and every gig – that is  – if you need good music for the soul – they want to play your tunes – if you are not feeling too well  – – and are looking for a cure to what is ailing you, now…  – they will have you up and on your feet – and they will play till you can get up on your feet and dance   in complete happiness – this will be the best day for you  – it is a cure  for you …  and  will make you feel wonderful!

When you make your request for  – “Youngsters in the BAND” – we can offer any age group of players and be sure to request the  musical instruments  – that is the  “Music Lovers” have all kinds of soothing types of music available  – and most music is good music to the ear of the beholder! Remember – we aim to please the most discriminating listener….    “We know… that… you know…  that when you hear young children play “music”  from their “hearts” with all the LOVE … that only young children can put into  what they are giving you  – – – what ever you hear – – – you will know this is “True Love”  – – and it is a once in a Life Time!”   “Always and only for YOU!”

May 7th “Do you remember “KATE SMITH” singing……..”

“GOD BLESS AMERICA” – and as only she could sing – as this song of all of our “SONGS” – that we AMERICANS” would sing during WWII – since we did need the ALMIGHTY to help us! Somewhere in this “WORLD” – we people think that – that the CREATOR of Heaven and EARTH – needs us, the creation –   – “where in the world did we get that crazy thought?”  “Without our CREATOR” we people are nothing – here today and gone tomorrow!”

Do you remember where you were during the 1940’s?” I was just a small girl in a FAMILY of five living in the North Saint Louis area – and everybody that I knew – we did “know” that AMERICA was in a WAR – and all of us had to do our part – to help in whatever way we could – to help bring this WAR to an early end!

By the way, the song “God Bless America,” written by Irving Berlin in 1938, is a prayer: “While the storm clouds gather far across the sea, let us swear allegiance to a land that’s free. Let us all be grateful for a land so fair, as we raise our voices in a solemn prayer.” Then the familiar refrain: “God bless America, land that I love. Stand beside her, and guide her, through the night with a light from above. From the mountains, to the prairies, to the oceans, white with foam, God bless America, my home sweet home.”

The above paragraph  – I brought in from Pastor Grey Laurie – Harvest Ministry message to me  – for May 7^th, 2015 – “Prayer DAY” The reason for this is so that everyone will have the words for “GOD BLESS AMERICA” and can sing or just read those words in a prayer for the Almighty Yahweh to help AMERICA – in her need today!

In the 1940’s – everyone did their part – to help everyone else – as you knew by looking at the “Front Windows” in each home on your block and on every street in you neighborhood – you knew – whose Father or Brother – was in the WAR – and which FAMILY – really were in a true need – as a member of their FAMILY – just gave the ultimate gift – his LIFE for his Country!

Today – we are in another WAR – this is a WAR that some have against “GOD” and everything that HE stands for! “Why” What makes us mere mortals think that we can  create anything – who died and left the governing of this “WORLD” to be run by people who will also be gone tomorrow!?Why can we not realize that the lessons that we had to learn in previous WARS – are what we need to continually work on? We need “HOPE” for a better day – and we can only achieve by our united action – to be united like the slogan on our coins – “IN GOD WE TRUST!”

A note from our “Fore-Fathers” – they had complete and a united trust in the one and only  “LIVING GOD” that they prayed to before – during and after each and every need that they ever had – and by their constant and sincere PRAYER  – they were able to plant AMERICA on a good foundation  – “Do we not call ourselves and this Country that we live in?” – “The United States of AMERICA”
