Attn; Jean B. Thanks for your inquiry about Mary Lee Taylor’ s “Friendly Kitchen” article that I was recalling something about my Aunt Irene and also taking Mrs. Herbert W. Cost to my home. Note the above article in the paper.

Also, I called Pet Milk Co., and was advised to check their company history for more info.

The person I spoke with did confirm that – Emma Perham Proetz and Susan Cost are one and the same person. Could not find anything regarding Mr. Herbert W. Cost – but that Susan was married to Arthur W. Proetz.

On Google – put in Susan Cost aka Mary Lee Taylor, and did find a picture of her and the cast for the radio program. They have under her picture Sue Cost. She does look just as I remember.

Susan Cost was a good friend for a very short time for me, but today, I have a larger amount of information. She did not come across to me as a person who had to tell the world all about herself and everything she accomplished!
