“HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY”
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY… DADDY”
This is a real favorite PHOTO of DADDY and ME – – when your PARENTS are YOUNG – – and YOU are the first baby in the FAMILY… “WOW” – – what more can I say – – everything is so NEW and Exciting – – the PARENTS are learning and the “BABY” that makes you THREE – – – and way back then in the late 1930’s – – to me… everything was just terrific – – If I say so… myself!
There were no problems – – LIFE was FUN and like the song… “the LIVING was Easy” – – could I ask for any thing…more?
Here is another old PHOTO of DADDY – – every couple of years his “face and looks” seem to change – – – – but we never forgot him – – –
During and or just before WWII – – my DAD was working in uniform – – and as a little girl – – guess some things – – were never talked about – – when little ears were around to hear and spill the beans – – talking about stuff – – they had no real knowledge of – – well like everyone has heard… “Loose Lips Sink Ships” – so therefore… “no ships sank… on my account!”
Talking about my DAD looking like “Clark Gable” with a cigarette – – this is one of the early ones – – but… as DAD got older – – seems like they both – – looked like the other… when smoking. “Check out the old movie… “Any Number Can Play” – – and you will see what I am talking about” That is one movie I can watch and watch – – just looks and acts like my DAD!
“My DAD just loved this day for his “BIRTHDAY” – – because everyone was also celebrating this day for the old… “GROUND HOG…himself” and when my DAD was older – – – he really took part in all of that CELEBRATING!”
