“Start this MONTH of NOVEMBER…with THAMKSGIVING”

Do you feel like you’re drowning emotionally?

Maybe, this year you have experienced loss and wondering how best to cope.

Many are struggling emotionally and are in need of hope. The stress of work, family life, paying bills, growing debt, meeting deadlines, even the news headlines often cause a great deal of distress and anxiety for all of us.

Just listing these I felt some anxiety!

I have some great news! There is hope!

Hope that you can experience on a deep life-changing level. Jesus offers life-changing hope to all who call upon His name. If you find yourself struggling with sadness, hopelessness, depression or anxiety, we encourage you to turn towards Jesus for hope.

His Word in the Bible has some tremendous promises for you to experience life change, a promise to stand on, and a promise that never fails.

That’s why we’ve compiled the following List of 10 Bible Verses about discovering Hope to help you on your faith journey:

  1. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
  1. “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their will renew their  strength. They will soar on wings like eagles;  they will run and  they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31
  1. “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” 1 Peter 1:3
  1. “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6
  2. “Through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.” Romans 5:2-5
  1. “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
  2. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
  1. “However, as it is written: ‘What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard,  and what no human mind has conceived’—the things God has prepared for those who love him—” 1 Corinthians 2:9
  1. “For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:17-18

  1. “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27

“What to DO On October 31st, Halloween”

“HALLOWEEN”

Halloween – October 31

On October 31st, Halloween brings out the ghouls and goblins, creatures, and strange folk. They come creeping about the neighborhood seeking favors over trickery.

People of all ages look forward to Halloween traditions. While dressing up and baking, we carve up glowing pumpkins. Children breathing life into storybook characters, practicing their trick or treat. In twos and threes, they traipse through the neighborhood, collecting their bounty in pillow sacks. A ghost, a pirate, a robot or Dorothy, and Toto. No matter their age, they come to the door. They knock or ring. Here and there, a screech or a boo!

The crisp air and autumn colors set the mood. Seasonings fill our senses with a taste of autumn. We set forth on an adventure and finish with a warm apple cider around a flickering fire.

HOW TO OBSERVE #Halloween

Typical festive Halloween activities include trick-or-treating (or the related “guising”). While many attend costume parties, bob for apples, and light bonfires, others look forward to counting trick or treaters. Houses are decorated with sprays of fall leaves, scarecrows, and pumpkins carved into jack-o-lanterns. Attractions include visiting a haunted house, playing pranks, telling scary stories and watching horror films.

However, trick or treating has also changed. In the United States, some organizations around the country offer trick or treat events for children to come dressed up and collect candy in a safe environment. They may also offer Halloween parties for children to attend, too.

In many parts of the world, the Christian religious observances of All Hallows’ Eve, including attending church services and lighting candles on the graves of the dead, remains popular. Although, in other locations, these solemn customs are less pronounced in favor of a more commercialized and secularized celebration.

Because many Western Christian denominations encourage, although no longer require, abstinence from meat on All Hallows’ Eve, the tradition of eating certain vegetarian foods for this vigil day developed, including the consumption of apples, colcannon, cider, potato pancakes, and soul cakes.

For the safest Halloween trick or treating tips, be sure to check out the Centers for Disease Control guidelines. Get your spook on and use #Halloween to post on social media.

Oh and folks, there are spooktacular deals to be found on October 31st, too! Be sure to check out the Celebration Deals page to find all the goodies!

HALLOWEEN HISTORY

The observance dates back to an ancient pagan harvest festival marking the end of summer and beckoning the beginning of winter. Seasons overlapped during Samhain (pronounced sah-win), and revelers believed the worlds of the living and the dead crossed. To interact with the spirits, the living would wear costumes and light, bright bonfires to help protect them.

Similar celebrations honoring the dead took place in Roman traditions, which were gradually blended and soon replaced the Celtic ceremonies.  However, All Martyrs Day established by Pope Boniface IV in 609 A.D. was eventually moved by Pope Gregory III to November 1. Later, it became known as All Saint’s Day. The eve of this celebration became known as All Hallows Eve or Halloween.

Through the Colonial era in America, Halloween celebrations were considered taboo due to religious beliefs. By the Victorian era, though, Haloween traditions featured fall festivals, parties, and foods involving communities and neighborhoods.

“Gramps, Once More with His Grand Children”

Every day that you wake up… YOU start to thinking… what is the PLAN for this day … for ME and THOSE…  that, I LOVE the most!

This is Grandpa AL with his second  Grandchild little Miss Ruby, all snuggled up in his  strong arms of LOVE!

When you are putting in an order for Grandchildren… you will for sure… want to put in an order…  for more wonderful  loving and so sweet children, like our little Miss RUBY.

It has been quite some time, since I have seen a  sweet  and attentive little child, like our little Miss Ruby, as she is  so ahead of her class in all that she is doing.

Ruby can talk  saying words that you would never  ever  imagine a small child to be able to say and or even understand. Also, she can ask questions  and  is really paying attention, to the full and clear answer given.

Little Miss Ruby will try to do everything, that she sees her older brother  Lex, do… and as she  feels she can do,  and  she will even try to do so much more… than we have ever expected.

It is a real blessing that our Creator,  will Bless us and our family and  also our children, with  lots of extra special things, that they can do and also understand…  that they have those abilities,  to be able to do… all that we are trying to teach them… in those very first years of their life.

This is our great Grandpa, AL…. and holding his most wonderful Grandson Lex… and they are at the AIRPORT… and this is a very favorite place for them to be… as Grandpa AL is a Pilot, and I do believe, that one day… our little Lex will be a Pilot, too!

When you go to the Airport… there are so many  and very good reasons to be at the “AIRPORT” … and a number one good  reason  for us to be at this large and friendly Airport… is to take your very own young Grandson Lex, to visit and to also be shown some very good things to learn to do… that will make him feel happy and welcome and safe visiting the “AIRPORT” at all times!

“Little Lex” will be taken up on an Airplane,  while he is visiting the Airport  today… and so  “Grandpa Al” is showing  his “Grandson Lex” some of things that visitors can do while they are standing on the ground… and they see  their friends and or some of their very own family…  get into their own Airplanes and start to taxing on over… getting ready for their takeoffs!

While you are standing on the ground… nearby  to where your “GRANDMA” is in her Airplane and is  now going to take a minute or two…  to see to it… that  forsure, everything is in its place and that she has everything running correctly…

“Grandma” takes a look out of her window… looking to where she can now see you….”Little LEX”  in the arms of your great “Grandpa” and now you see her…waving and waving… and so “Grandpa” is showing you… little LEX… how to wave back … holding your arm and hand moving fingers…  like he is doing and giving a real nice wave back… with lots of “LOVE”  from the both of you!

“Highly Creative Learning, is So VERY Good”

“Jaime’s First Published Book is Just Terrific”

“First Published book by Jaime Aldrich”

This is the cover of the book written and illustrated with her very own drawings…the title is “Changes Around Us” …

… and the author is Miss Jaime Aldrich, my Grand-Daughter.

img188

Since … little Miss Jaime’s book is about the changing  “SEASONS ” just thought that I would include a page from her book and this page talks about this very “TIME” of the year that we are in now…

“FALL” … and on the page opposite this writing is…  one of her very own drawings just to show us… what the “FALL TIME”  of a year would look like and what we might be doing… when and at this time of the year.

img189

This is one of the best “projects” … I feel that the SCHOOL System can offer for the very young children… something CREATIVE and using their natural talents that a very young child has.

To have some way of expressing their use of language, writing, and storytelling all in a very natural and highly imaginative way for their age.

Also, for those young children who like to draw and color or even paint, which are all qualities to spark a full development… giving them something that they may want to explore further in LIFE, with higher education and more training.

When given a chance early to start writing stories and with your own natural creative gifts given to us by our Creator… gives us advancement in more training and working our natural abilities into a career and or at least…

… this first starter project is a FAMILY treasure and something to be proud of …  for all the days of their LIFE!

“One must be grateful and thankful to those TEACHERS… that have the inspiration to know exactly what will motivate children to learn and master  up good working abilities in small starter projects in SCHOOL…

… sparking something … that gives a Student a chance to develop LOVE… in projects…

… that  will also inspire others to always want to make things that are good for all of us!”

“On the Seventh…YOU Fly to Heaven”

“Planning to FLY Over To See YOU”

Everyday is a new and bright day… just a waiting to be received by all of us… as that extra special day … when Miracles do happen!

Some days you just receive,  that extra special feeling… you just know…  that there is something… right NOW… that you just got to get  your  whole body … soul and mind in gear  to receive …

So many of us,  have those extra special requests of our Almighty Creator … and we will pray and or even will  ask and try begging for a special sign… just because… we are not really ready… for those  un-asked for events and things … that  just keep on  a coming and  are happening right now.

Have you ever tried to just wait for things to happen and with  no dilly dally delays of any kind … you  think you are having a real good  feeling, and are feeling it all the way down and into your bones… you gotta  just get  to that  good going… just as fast  and faster than ever before…  just as  fast as you can!

Just take a look at my hair… the wind is blowing me  almost off my feet… just a real good thing… that I have my heavy  duty boots  on… just  so good, to keep me on the ground, when the wind takes a notion to get so wound up…  as if it were a hurricane … and or trying to get my attention to get a much  faster move on!

When you just love to be flying… you see all of these obstacles as top priority challenges and you just have to start working faster and keep your mind on  just exactly that which  you are doing… watching out for something  off base… coming in a hurry and just so off base… makes  for you to start to wondering… am I taking any unnecessary  challenges or what?

Just letting everyone know… that I am up and  way up and above and doing… all of that which I was taught… from day one…

Just keep your eyes up and looking for me… when I fly by and wave!

You all know that this… “tis the seventh”… and if ever you want me to stop by and see you… on the seventh … you just gotta keep -a  thinking…  all of those real  good and loving thoughts…  that we have been thinking of all these  many years  and then…  take a real quick look up… into those  very bright blue skies above, and see “me” looking right back to you and waving….  with one of “MOM’S”   golden oldies neckerchiefs… and  we will  be saying so much that no one  in the whole wonderful world wide … will know just exactly what we are saying…

but…  for  all full time believers…  it will sound like “I Love You and You Love me…. today and tomorrow… forever more!”

There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.

“HALLOWEEN” costume Winners are the BEST Today”

“Getting Ready for HALLOWEEN”

“HALLOWEEN” is that one day that all little children get  to have a really good time –  the children will get to dress up  – in some outfits that really look so cute – and are  just so much FUN –  just the  making  of them and  then watching each child have a really great time – in the best of  “Make-Believe” lands.

img051

The PHOTO on the left is our  little  Miss “JAIME” and she looks like the cutest little  and most friendly MOUSE –  that you would like to keep… forever.

And then… if ever you wanted to look beautiful… you would get all dressed up like  our little  Miss “ALYSSA”  is seen here,   in the PHOTO on the right –  and try on a most beautiful of gowns… a  “WEDDING DRESS” –  that  may have only been worn  once… before.

OCT 31 001

This is the “PRE-SCHOOL” class room… where  you first get to see how your  very own school friends will be all  “DRESSED” in their own fancy and sometimes scary outfits,  for that big day…  HALLOWEEN –  and find out where they will be going to do their “trick and treating” –   and of course –  you will be getting ideas for what your next year’s  “HALLOWEEN” costume  will look like.

img195

In this PHOTO –  we see that the “TEACHER”, herself is dressed like “RONALD MAC DONALD”  – which is a very nice out-fit to have – as you can use it…  at so many  other  “PARTIES” and will  always be is style.

I do not remember who made  “LITTLE MOUSE ”  JAIME’s out-fit –  but she sure is the cutest little ole  mouse –  that I have seen –  and it looks like all of her friends also like her cute  “mouse”  out-fit –  it just  “WINS a PRIZE”… in my book!

“All  are Winners”
