June Weddings!
Looks like perfect weather for a “June Wedding’! How about a perfect, ‘Wedding Dress’? Would a wedding dress from “1910”, be in ‘high demand’?
Just so happens, I still have my Aunt Irene Riley’s, wedding dress, which is only ,“102 – years old”, and, in the ‘best of shape’.
Around, ‘1970’, my mother and I were members of the Women’s Business and Professional Assn., and for their June meeting , ‘feature attraction’, they presented a ‘Wedding Show’. They needed dresses and models, so, they were able to find a small model for my Aunt Irene’s dress. It was the ‘oldest dress in the best condition’ and my mother and I were just thrilled to see someone wear the wedding dress, so proudly.
Some things are worth saving, providing you have the space, and at some point in time, it can be enjoyed , again! When they made things in the , “Good ole’ Days”, – They made them to Last!
