“God Bless America”
Land that I love. ..
Stand beside her, and guide her —
Thru the night – with a light – from above.
From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans, white with foam —
“God bless America” – My home sweet home!
When we were little “KIDS” we sang these words and several other songs – because America was in the “WAR in the 1940’s” – and everyone seem to think that if the young men – we were sending to fight – would need more “HELP” than the Ammunition and Air- Planes and Tanks we were making – we needed “HELP” from above!
Every day at 12:00 NOON – on K.M.O.X. we would hear “Kate Smith” sing “God Bless America” – with the most powerful voice – sing just like a strong prayer – letting God know we needed His “HELP” and “NOW!”
My hope and prayer – today – is that we never – ever forget – that without the Almighty God”s help – we are out of the game – its over!
If we all gather together – and really pray – America could be strong again! Let’s all “DO IT NOW!” It’s later than you think!!!
