4 July 2014 – Do – Did – Done

July 4, 1776 – is our “Birthday Celebration Day” – a day to show that we are “Americans” and that we are going to continue doing the “Celebrating” that the signers of the “Declaration of Independence” – wanted us to do – forever more!

When you have been here – in America for 76 years – you more than likely have done everything that is possible to? If you have not – then – maybe it was not for you to get your hands dirty – with the jobs that maybe no one else wanted to do? Or, if like me you were in an Orphanage and had to do what you were told to do – or else – and I leave that “else” to your imagination?

On the “PATH” selected for me – I cannot complain – since I received so much good along the way – that no matter what I did not like doing – sometimes – the good – always was so much more than I really deserved! I have to be honest and give “Almighty God – the Glory and the Thanks” My cup “over-floweth” – per Psalm 23!

My Mother told me – that when she was a young girl – early 1900’s – Indians were still riding horses around were they lived in North Saint Louis and some of the young men friends of her sister, Irene – rode horse and also shot hand guns – and that they had to be very careful – especially around the – 4th of July – because that was the main way of celebrating!

Today – celebration will have a Parade – music – marching – schools bands – large overhead balloons – barbecues –with maybe a “Military Flyover” to give you goose-bumps? The end of the day may have a “Bonfire – yard illuminated beyond belief?” Of even attending a “River Front Celebration” with the best of “Fire-works” and “FREE” – just bring your favorite lawn chair! End the day “Star-gazing” – when the “Fire-works” are over – and get that feeling – we are here because someone fought for this “Freedom” – so that we can celebrate and give “Thanks” to the memory of our “Fore-Fathers” who paid for this celebration with their beliefs and life in some cases?

Pass on to the next generations – all the good that we have received – all because our “Fore-Fathers” cared enough to work hard together – to give us the best of futures – hopefully that our generations will have a better life – than they? Let our “future” be – because we figured out the secret of life – that with “LOVE” for all – we can work together – leaving the world a much better place than we found it and all life will have a memory of “LOVE” to pass on!
