Jan 2nd On the 2nd – – – 2 +2

Today is the 2^nd and today is the 2^nd day of the beginning of this “NEW YEAR” – and the 2^nd of the last two days – finishing up this week? I’m guessing that all these 2’s – just got me to thinking about my DAD – since his birthday was full of 2’s – and when someone wanted to know his birthday – – he loved to rattle off all the 2’s!

As I was just thinking about the 2’s – – something that just came to mind was that someone – – and I cannot remember who the “SOMEONE” was – but what they had said – to me “Will you ever remember me – when I’m gone?” — “What a statement?”

So, just thinking about that question – I’m wondering if any other person – -has ever thought to ask someone that question – as we are all so busy – – just doing the living “LIFE” each and every day – and it seems that we – – that would be each one of us – is doing daily everything we can for our families and for the place we work and or for our own businesses – and at the end of the day – we wondered – “Does anybody even care or take notice of all that I am doing for them – only because I LOVE them – and if I were not here and all that I do – would they then – even give me a second – thought?”

Over the years, I’ve been either working with family and or friends – – and in the business world such a wide variety of people – all coming from all walks of LIFE – and one thing that I have picked up on – is how people respond to others – in their own homes – at family gatherings – in the work place, at work or in meetings – even at outdoor events – “cooperation” – seems to be the unknown word – – a word that most of us has forgotten???

So often we see someone trying to do something and they are all alone and whatever they are trying to do – it really needs another person’s help – but more people will just stand there – looking – but will not dare to give a helping hand – until they have been requested to do so – and then they think and act like they have been ask to holdup the whole world from sinking?? Did you ever see such a scene?? Were you ever that person – needing the help – – and – or – were you the person who can stand and wait till the “STARS” fall from above and fall down on you – – before you would lift a hand to help someone??

Like I said – I was thinking about my DAD – and sometimes if I had just said that – I was thinking of doing something – he would have the project started immediately! I had said – that I was tired of looking at the house painted dark green and was thinking of painting it – – a more friendly color – that I had heard that the color of your house tells the whole world – what type of family lives in this house – and that’s even before they ring the doorbell to really find out – what type of family lives there??? So, one day as I am driving up our road – each family had three acres or more – and looking down the road – where our “HOUSE” should be – I see something big and white? “Sure looks like a “WHITE ELEPHANT” if I ever saw one?”As I got closer – it was our house – just as white as it could be! When I got out of the car – my DAD met me – and said – “NOW – all you need to do is paint the house whatever color you like – it had to first have a coat of white – so that you would be able to have a smooth job of painting with a lighter color!”

It was just unbelievable – the whole house and garage all painted “WHITE” in one day! That sure is “Cooperation” and with a capital “C” – if I ever saw it! (2+2+2=6=family)
