“Daddy takes care of his ‘Babies’!”

img182

Everybody has some kind of   “chores” that just have to be done daily, – but when you have  horses and other farm animals – you will always have some new born “BABIES” – and you know  – when there are babies – they need your time and attention  24/7.

The above picture –  Lee is taking care  of “Mama Valentine”  and  her little new born baby “Rain-Bow”  is so close to her MAMA – it is almost as if she is in the arms of  her MAMA – gently snuggling under and around MAMA’s legs! It sure is a miracle that horses know just what to do on their own – the whole deal of being born and then the baby knows just where to get milk and that to keep close to MAMA – is the best and safer of places to be for all the protection she will need – until MAMA teaches her baby the  ropes  of LIFE – what to do and when and where!

Lee has always had horses – his first was when Lee was  nine or ten years old  –  it  was a pony which was due to have a foul  and then  later a “Buckskin” – that was ready to go and the rider sure better be ready for a “ride” – that you will not forget soon, afterwards? When you have your own horse and that goes for any other animals – Lee had to feed   his horse and  his brother,Al  – had to feed his horse and then the dogs  and cats and then  for awhile we even had rabbits  and all these animals had to be taken care of  –  before going to school.

So, when you have all these animals – the chores continue when you get home from school – the  best part of cleaning  – is the extra work on the stalls and preparing for the evening and also, the tack needs care – especially  after you ride with your friends. And  – there is  nothing like completing the day  with your music lessons and practice and your homework  for school – must be done . Sure can not have a horse – if you can not keep up with school work and studies  – “Lot of Learning  and always the care of the LOVE of your LIFE –  –  your favorite animal!”
