Today is November 3rd, 2015…Cliche Day…

Well… using the above topic… with this photo of my friend and neighbor Mrs George (Jackie) Jansen for some thirty years…

On the weekend… my friend Jackie and I would have some location in the greater Saint Louis and surrounding areas … researched and picked out to spend the day visiting and or even take a tour and then follow with either a lunch and or even sometimes a late dinner. This way… we had a chance to see lots of the interesting happenings that were special and worth our going to… and deciding whether or not they were all …as sometimes that they are advertise to be.

On this particular “day trip” aboard the “Belle of St. Louis” – – we had a good meal and also saw some of the Saint Louis “Personalities” that were on the radio and TV Stations …that broadcast in and around the Saint Louis area. One thing that you never know …when planning a “DAY EVENT” for a future date…how will the weather be…especially… if this is to be a day – – that you will be dressed nicely…and did not plan on carrying an umbrella.

Part of the “THOUSAND WORDS” in this photo… You can see that we are full of smiles…we are outside and the weather was just terrific… it was not too hot…there was just enough of a breeze to make and keep us comfortable… so in our words…”WE had a real nice time and if the chance would come up again… We would take another trip!”
