100th Anniversary Celebration
Did you perform on Kiel Auditorium Stage? Well, I guess you just have to be in the right place at the right time? We, Orphans, all have scripts to memorize and dance steps to learn and everyone was learning their part to perform to perfection.
This was the ” big deal, a Broadway Musical Production” with outstanding Chroniclers, with the longest list of “Orphan Home History”, events that took place for this , 100th year Centennial Anniversary Celebration! The material they memorized and delivered with such high quality, you would have thought they were professional actors.
My Mother and Father were both back stage before the performance. My Mother was helping us with our make-up and moral support.
After the Pageant, my Mother said that was the best show performance ! We did an annual show on the ” Home Stage in the Auditorium”
My Question? Why there was no filming and or photos made, and only one (1) performance? Re runs would have made millions!
