“Happy Birthday Lee Aldrich Sr., with Blessings from Heaven”
When this PHOTO was taken, I would have taken more pictures of “DADDY” Lee, Sr., stretched out on the floor with our “newborn baby, AL” and his big brother, “Lee Jr.,” if only there was some advanced warning in our LIFE, that “Daddy” would be needing surgery, within four short years… from mow, and so suddenly, not able to make it, as everything that could go wrong, that fatal night, it was all … so unbelievable!
TODAY, my feeling is to take more PHOTOS of the FAMILY, and learn to enjoy each and every moment, because those few precious moments, they are over in seconds, never ever to return, and once gone, never again remembered, since the brain only received such short “snippets” just not enough to store in the “MEMORY” bank for years to come.
So, and unless there are more “PHOTOS” taken and saved of all of the extra special celebrations of LIFE, just to bring to mind, all of the “LOVE of YOUR LIFE” of YOU and those You LOVE, those wonderful memories… that would have been “Keepsakes” will just be gone, forever!
Old PHOTOS bring to LIFE, at least in our mind, reminders of those few moments that, we all have and had shared a special zest for Living with the true “LOVES of our LIFE time” – here on Earth!
There are TIMES when we think that our LIVES are a piece of “HEAVEN on EARTH”… but, being young and in LOVE, our minds are not strong enough to let us really know, that these few fleeting moments, if not fully enjoyed in the “here and now” will have only been a vague and passing dream of a time in our LIFE, and… you may have wished for “IT” to be forever… but, there is only the right “NOW” then it is “TIME” forever … and “all gone!”
This is when we were living in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and only a mile from the ocean, and when living in Florida… we were regulars, after working hours to plan on picking up the children … and with all of our gear put the “auto” in that special heading … for our spot at the “Beach” as there is nothing more refreshing than to just relax and rest in that wonderful sand and then as clock work … run every so often … just race to see who gets into that “OCEAN” for that extra special dip… in that “Ocean’s Blue” for an extra special “Tan” which is so wonderful and free!
That “FLORIDA SUNSHINE” would wake us all up so early, no late sleepers, “Mr. SUNSHINE” would pour himself, into the windows with a “TIME to WAKE-Up… and SMILE” … as there was no need for an “Alarm Clock” … so Lucky for us, that we all were “early birds” always ready, for that NEW day alarm with great expectations each and every day to expect our LIVES … to include that full day of …“FUN!”

“FATHER’s DAY… 2017” “A MEMORY”
This is a PHOTO that reminds me – – that we should take more TIME OUT – – to take photos of DADDY and the small children – – since this precious play time… lasts… but a few moments in the brain.
When this PHOTO was taken – – I would have taken more pictures of “DADDY”… Lee, Sr., stretched out on the floor with our “newborn baby AL” and big brother, Lee Jr., if only there was some advanced warning in LIFE – – that “Daddy” would be needing surgery… within four years from mow – – and so sudden… not make it.
TODAY… my feeling is to take more PHOTOS of the FAMILY – – and learn to enjoy each and every moment – – those precious moments – – that are over in seconds – – never ever to return – – and once gone – – never remembered – – unless there are PHOTOS… to bring to mind – – all the LOVE of LIFE – – that would have … just been gone forever.

“Daddy -o” – do you hear ME…”
“Do you hear me “Daddy-o” – way up there… where you are… – this special song is just for you…”
“Not every “special” friend of your’s can stand on their “tippy-toes” and let out with a “howl” – – the kind…of a “Hound-Dog” special “howl” – – the only kind – that is music… to your ears..”

“Do you remember… when you would come up from Florida – – every year – you would get your “extra-special” harmonica out – – and we would all chime in – – on the “songs and sing” sweet melodies – to the high heavens above… – remember… we never ever got a complaint – – – in fact we would – – just seem to “sail” – or when “MICKEY” was driving – – – should I have said “FLY” through one STATE after… another – making really good time getting to ole STATE of Missouri for the “FOURTH of JULY” special activities…???”
“We… old “Hound-Dogs” – are sometimes like the old elephant – she never forgets… that one time…when she was pulled over – – did the “Officer” ask if you knew that you were “FLYING” low – and with your quick thinking – you pulled out your badge – and told the nice “Officer” that you were needed in Missouri – – for a very special case – and – – we all took a slower approach… to finish the journey…“
Is it not – just simply “golden-ed” to still remember all the good times – – – of yester-year – – and still be able to think – – that we should still remember your “BIRTHDAY” – – – – So… with good music in the background… we are singing “HAPPY BIRTHDAY ” to you… “DEAR LEE!”

“I’d tried…. DADDY DEAREST…but”
“I did try – and even tried again… but… NOBODY can fill… YOUR SHOES!”
“Everybody was here and each of them gave it – – the old ‘college’ try… but…there is “NOBODY” around here to fill your boots… now that you are gone…”
“I took a look at what everybody… was doing… – – – looks like these are some real good boots… just made for “walking” in comfort – and since “NOBODY” – can do “justice” in your boots… I just thought I would make these com-fee boots … my new HOME!”
“Mr. Justice – the one and only man of the law – If I take real good care of these “boots” – will it be “OKAY” – – if I keep these boots warm – by my taking a “NAP” in them – – – and I’ll be doing this just for you!”

“To my A #1 Valentine!”
Nothing like your one and only “A #1 VALENTINE” to be the “LOVE” of your LIFE, forever! The above photo was taken when we lived in FLORIDA – and while we were sitting on the sofa – someone wanted to take our picture and am I forever grateful – that this picture – just taken in “FUN” – as I was playing with little Lee, Jr. – who may have been around two years of age – on the right side of this photo.
The “newspaper clipping – “MY LOVER” by “Ben Burroughs” – was something that I clipped from the news-paper – because I thought that it applied to us – as sometimes – and only at the right time in LIFE – when everything – that has been previously … pre-ordained … and the “TIME” is right in the COSMOS – do you run into the “SOUL-MATE” – that was especially chosen for you – even though – your “TIME” together here on earth – just will not be forever. “For a very short TIME” here and then later – be together and only then, forever!” So, I am so HAPPY – even if it was for a very short time – and that the MEMORIES” will last till that day that we will meet again!”
The dress that I am wearing is one that I made. That dress called for six yards of material – as seen – – – the “skirt” has all that material – it really makes you feel like a “MILLION” – just so terrific! The pattern also had a version for a straight skirt – and I made several – with the straight skirt – is solid colors – nice and simple and so good for working – so business like, when you are tall and thin – – you could always look just right for any work place! Back then, my waist measurement was 19 inches – – it is not 19 inches any more – must be the cake and or the ice cream??
“HAPPY VALENTINE’s DAY – Lee !” I am hoping that all the young “LOVERS” of this world are always in LOVE with the “One and ONLY LOVE” – and will always be in LOVE, forever! LOVE for another does take lots of hard work – – but with LOVE, you can do it – I know – – and I know that you can do it, too!
